In January 2018,the State Council of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,Opinions on Fully Deepening the Reform of Teachers' Team Construction in the New Era,pointed out that in order to rejuvenate the country,we must first strengthen teachers. We should deeply recognize the importance of the construction of teachers' team.As a highly plastic and large number of newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers,we should focus on it.At the present time when the national unified examination system has been established for the certification of teachers' qualifications, many teachers who graduated from non-normal education majors have joined the ranks of teachers. It is necessary for us to study the working status of newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers and analyze the existing problems, and then put forward corresponding optimization countermeasures. In this study,we distributed questionnaires on the working status of newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers in W and G counties of J province, and conducted in-depth interviews with principals and newly recruited teachers. After collating and analyzing the collected data and information,we found that there are the following problems for newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers: First, the teacher profession has become a means of livelihood rather than a career;second, the lack of targeted guidance for newly recruited teachers of non-normal major;third, the excessive pressure of teaching results in the poor working status of newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers;fourth, the different origins of teachers affect the organizational commitment of newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers. The author suggests that the following four aspects should be dealt with: first,to create an environment in which teachers' profession is the pursuit of life-long career;second,to provide targeted guidance to newly-recruited teachers of non-normal specialty;third,to alleviate the pressure on newly-recruited primary and secondary school teachers to teach;fourth,to pay more attention to newly-recruited teachers of non-local origin.
