The extracurricular Chinese homework can not only extend the students' classroom learning content to a certain extent,but also can promote the improvement of students' practical ability through rich and colorful social practice activities and arouse the students' enthusiasm in learning the mother tongue.Moreover,setting some effective extracurricular homework will defintely enrich the students' spiritual and humanistic world.However,as a matter of fact,most Chinese teachers ignore the value of the homework.When they set the homework,they often arrange them repeatly,even the students feel boring and tedious.As a result,the extracurricular homework has become an invisible burden for students gradually.In view of the problem,during the study,we adopt the research method,including the literature review,questionnaire and interview.In the procedure of the research,we studied the Chinese teachers' understanding of the extracurricular activities,but also the interests of students in the extracurricular activities.Through the actual investigation,the author find some urgent problems in the junior high school about the Chinese homework: first of all,there are too much homework and we can not make a balance between the homework and the students' abilities;secondly,the homework is so simplex that the students can't develop comprehensively;thirdly,the contents of the homework are boring,and it focus on the teaching materials,so there is no doubt that the homework has nothing to do with our practical life;design concept Chinese homework is obsolete,lack of some cooperation consciousness;fourthly,as for the Chinese teachers,they have no awareness of innovation and cooperation;fifthly,the way of correcting homework is boring,and most of the time,we cannot meet the students' demands and ignore their dominant positions;last but not least,sometimes,because of the teachers' personal reasons,the feedback not in time.All the problems above show that in the procedure of the teaching,the role and value of the Chineseextracurricular homework have not been played well.According to these problems,the author puts forward the following strategies,for example,teachers should pay much attention to the development of the homework functions and increase the diversity of the homework forms.Meanwhile,as teachers,they should enhance the interest of extracurricular homework and unite the needs of the development of school education in China,learn experience from the foreign countries to promoting the overall development of students.Finally,I hope to provide some references for the layout of the Chinese extracurricular homework.
