In recent years,the text interpretation ability of Chinese teachers has become increasingly important in the process of Chinese teaching.In the context of the new curriculum reform,Chinese teachers are confronted with plenty of new issues in lesson preparation and classroom teaching.Thus,Chinese teachers' concept of text interpretation needs to be constantly adjusted and updated,and their ability of text interpretation calls for sustained improvement.Whether the Chinese teachers understand the text deeply or not can not only reflect the quality of the teachers themselves,but also display the teaching level of the Chinese discipline in middle school.This thesis examines the group of Chinese teachers in middle schools with Chinese teaching characteristics,investigates the initiatives taken by schools to improve teachers' text interpretation ability,and summarizes the experience and laws of Chinese teachers in text interpretation,which can provide enlightenment for the teaching of Chinese teachers at the front line.In light of the prevalent problems in the current text interpretation,this thesis takes the Chinese teachers in Chongqing No.8 Middle School as a case study object,through the observations of Chinese classroom and interviews with Chinese teachers.By cataloging the relevant measures taken by No.8 Middle School to improve Chinese teachers' ability of text interpretation and describing the present situation of those measures,the thesis-author sums up the characteristics of text interpretation from the classroom observation,points out the issues faced by the Chinese teachers of No.8 Middle School in interpreting the text and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.In this case study,this thesis portrays the current situation of text interpretation of teachers in Chongqing No.8 Middle School,which provides references for middle school Chinese teachers to improve their ability of text interpretation.The research consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research purpose and content,research status,research idea and method,as well as the general situation of the research object.The second part elaborates the measures taken by Chongqing No.8 Middle School to enhance the text reading ability of Chinese teachers,which includes four aspects: vigorously launching the training of young teachers,earnestly organizing teaching and research activities at different levels,actively engaging in class competitions at all levels,and comprehensively promoting inter-school exchanges.The third part sketches the characteristics of the text interpretation of Chinese teachers in Chongqing No.8 Middle School.Based on the text,it can be concluded that interpreting the text restores life,digging out the text enriches the interpretation with depth and understanding students engenders a good interpretation in line with students' learning situation.The fourth part presents the problems in the text interpretation for Chongqing No.8 Middle School Chinese teachers and brings forward some suggestions.The fifth part is the conclusion,which restates the viewpoints of this study and summarizes the enlightenment brought by the improvement of Chongqing No.8 Middle School's text interpretation ability,and finally clarifies the innovation and limitation of this study.
