In recent years,there are more and more researches on teachers' teaching competence in China,but less attention has been paid to the teaching competence of Chinese teachers in primary schools.Primary Chinese education is an important part of basic education in China and plays an important role in the growth of young children.The teaching competence of primary school Chinese teachers is an important factor affecting the quality of primary school teaching,so this study has important practical significance.The object of this study is 6,836 primary school Chinese teachers in11 cities divided into districts and 80 counties(districts)in jiangxi province.Through the analysis of the survey data,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the teaching competence of Chinese teachers in primary schools is above the average.From the assessment results of the first-level indicators,the knowledge literacy performance of primary school Chinese teachers is 3.78,teaching ability performance is 4.78,professional character performance is 4.79,individual character performance is 4.27,and the overall performance of teachers' teaching competency is 4.53.This shows that the teaching competence of Chinese teachers in primary schools is above the average level on the whole.(2)different primary school Chinese teachers have different teaching competency.From the perspective of regions,the primary school Chinese teachers in 11 districts and cities in jiangxi province were ranked in order of teaching competence in terms of shangrao,pingxiang,ji 'an,nanchang,jingdezhen,fuzhou,xinyu,yingtan,yichun,jiujiang and ganzhou.From the perspective of gender,the teaching competence of male teachers is better than that of female teachers.In terms of age,the average teaching competence level of Chinese teachers in primary schools between 40 and 50 years old is the highest.Taking the age of 50 as the cut-off point,the teaching competence level of primary school Chinese teachers before the age of 50 increases with the increase of age,but tends to be stable after the age of 50.From the point of view of teaching age,the level of teaching competence of primary school Chinese teachers increases continuously with the increase of teaching age before 30 years of teaching age,and gradually tends to be stable after 30 years of teaching age.From the compilation status,the teaching competence level of primary school Chinese teachers who have obtained the state compilation is obviously higher than that of primary school Chinese teachers who have not obtained the state compilation.From the perspective of professionaltitle,the higher the professional title grade of primary school Chinese teachers is,the higher the teaching competence level is.From the perspective of commendation,the primary school Chinese teachers who have been commended have better teaching competence than those who have not been commended,and the higher the level of commendation,the higher the level of teaching competence of the primary school Chinese teachers.(3)there are various factors affecting the teaching competence of primary school Chinese teachers,including the frequency of teacher teaching training and teachers' participation in training,the frequency of teaching research organization and participants' participation,the frequency of reading educational and teaching literature,the frequency of teaching observation and consulting colleagues,and the teaching pressure.Based on the present situation and existing problems of teaching competence of primary school Chinese teachers in jiangxi province,the following countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward: strengthening the construction of teaching and research organization;Motivate teachers to participate in training;Improving teachers' knowledge and accomplishment;Actively carry out teaching observation;Reduce the psychological pressure on teachers.
