The development of entrepreneurial education is closely integrated with the social background.The education of entrepreneurship emerged in the 1980 s and 1990 s.With the development of society and economy,the pioneering education in colleges and universities also flourished at home and abroad.At the same time,the requirements also change,and the definition of entrepreneurship education tends to be broad.This paper is mainly about the comparative study of entrepreneurial education mode between Chinese and American colleges and universities.The research of this paper mainly introduces and analyzes the three major aspects of the education goal,course setting and practice form of entrepreneurship education in the typical universities in China and the United States.Three Representative Modes of Education in America are Focused Mode,Whole-school Mode and Mixed Mode;Three Representative Universities in China's Universities: Tsinghua University Model,Beihang University Model and Shanghai Jiaotong University Model,in order to find out the essential things that suit the entrepreneurship education that is universally carried out in colleges and universities.Through comparison,it can be seen that both Chinese and U.S.colleges and universities pay attention to the cultivation of entrepreneurial awareness and entrepreneurial environment in entrepreneurship education.All of them have formed a relatively complete system of entrepreneurship education in universities,both using a combination of theoretical and practical teaching,but at the same time,the start-up of Chinese colleges and universities started relatively late.There are also many problems on the basis of the formation of a certain model.For example,there is a need to deepen the cultivation of students' entrepreneurial education awareness.In the practice of entrepreneurship,it should not only stay at the level of activities,it needs Better combination with professional courses not only cultivates the students' knowledge ability in entrepreneurship,but also helps students acquire more skills such as risk identification and opportunity recognition while learning entrepreneurial education.Therefore,by comparing the similarities and differences between the two,and learning from the mature model of entrepreneurship education in the United States,this paper proposes suggestions for the implementation of entrepreneurship education in universities in China and promotes the development of entrepreneurship education in universities in China.
