The development of the Internet has penetrated into all aspects of human society.However,multimedia with powerful information dissemination function organically integrates with ideological and moral education,which not only changes people's life style and communication style,but also affects the ideological and moral education style and teaching effect of junior high school students.The physical and mental development of the students in the junior high school is not balanced yet.They show behavioral characteristics such as obtaining information,communication and exchange,network entertainment and business transactions in the network environment.Only by carrying out effective ideological and moral education can junior high school ideological and moral education keep up with the development of information technology and live up to the new mission entrusted by the times.In the multimedia environment,the ideological and moral education of junior high school students presents the characteristics of complexity of educational environment,diversity of educational means and abundance of educational resources.However,in order to promote the healthy growth of junior high school students and improve the quality and effect of ideological and moral education teaching,through questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews and classroom observation,it is found that there are many problems in the ideological and moral education of junior high school students,such as single classroom teaching method,insufficient emphasis on in-class and out-of-class educational activities,incomplete teaching evaluation system,unsatisfactory cooperative education effect between home and school,etc.The specific reasons for the problems are analyzed from four aspects of students,families,teachers and schools.Morality and Rule of Law as a comprehensive compulsory course that lays the foundation for the formation and healthy growth of junior high school students' ideological and moral character.At the same time,the countermeasures to strengthen ideological and moral education in the multimedia environment are as follows: First,the school plays a good role as the main position of educating people,and the school environment pays attention to cultural education;Content of Education-Persisting in Keeping Pace with the Times;Educational Methods-Enriching Activities in and out of Class;Cooperative Education-Home-School Cooperation.Secondly,teachers should give full play to their leading role in teaching,update educational concepts and promote the development of professional ability.Informationization of teaching process and timely adjustment of teaching strategies;Diversification of teaching evaluation methods,construction of ideological and moral education evaluation standards.Furthermore,ideological and moral education also requires parents to attach importance to their children's moral education,optimize the family education environment,and take the initiative to learn and master scientific education methods.Finally,students should form good study habits and improve their media literac.The government should strengthen value guidance and build a good social environment.
