The art of drama has a very high aesthetic value in the history of cultural development in China and the world.In the process of high school Chinese education,drama teaching plays an important role in improving students’ language literacy,aesthetic quality and opening up students’ spiritual space.It has the same important status as novels,prose,and ancient poetry.It is a part of Chinese teaching that cannot be ignored.This thesis mainly explains the related issues of drama teaching from the following four aspects.First,since the founding of New China,high school Chinese textbooks have undergone several changes with national policies,policies,and syllabuses.Each edition of the textbook has its own characteristics of the times and its adherence to principles.In the selection process of the new textbooks,the principles of “emphasis on exemplaryness”,“emphasis on acceptability” and “focus on literacy” are mainly followed.Second,drama teaching mainly has three functions: moral education function,aesthetic education function and intellectual education function.Generally speaking,the teaching method is mainly used in the teaching of the synopsis and the background analysis of the times,the analysis of the characters and the story,and the teaching of the drama.Thirdly,by investigating the investigations related to the teaching of Chinese drama in high schools,we find that drama teaching has problems such as insufficient attention,single teaching methods,and insufficient activities.Therefore,schools and substitute teachers should reduce the utilitarianism of teaching,take students’ development as the ultimate goal,and choose the teaching method suitable for students’ learning to cultivate students’ interest.Fourth,according to the survey results,drama teaching can adopt the following teaching strategies: through the guided links before unit learning,lead students to initially perceive the characteristics of the dramatic works,understand the common sense of drama and the skills and methods of reading and learning of the dramatic works;After the characteristics of the genre and the learning methods,he entered the three sections of reading,performance and evaluation of text teaching.In the "reading",the overall perception of the work,in the "play" in-depth understanding of the literary and stage unity of the work,in the "evaluation" link to consolidate and improve.
