Firstly,this study is based on the background of current rapid development of Fintech and Fintech enterprises,also based on the relatively scarce domestic research on personnel training of Fintech enterprises.The purpose of this study is to provide preliminary suggestions and ideas for Fintech enterprises to select university students who apply for Fintech enterprises.After reviewing the relevant literatures on competency and competency model,this study uses the method of competency model establishment to explore the core competency standards for university students' selection in Fintech enterprises.Secondly,this study establishes the research objectives.Through the analysis of literature and recruitment advertisements,it extracts the competency standard indicators of college students applying for Fintech enterprises.After defining the relevant concepts,determining the evaluation criteria and subjects,it begins to make Behavior Event Interview(BEI).In the early stage of the interview,the necessary tools and relevant training were prepared,and a targeted interview outline for this study,the exploratory research interview outline of college students' core competence selection in Fintech enterprises was designed.Then,formal interviews were conducted.After BEI was conducted among 10 subjects according to the interview requirements,the interviews were recorded and translated into textual data.Finally,through a series of statistical analysis,difference test,correlation analysis and comparison of basic information,length of interview text,scoring method of interview text and interview group,the standard model of core competency for University Students' selection in Fintech enterprises is obtained.After getting the standard model of the core competency of College students who apply for Fintech enterprise,this study analyzed the elements of the model,and tested the differences of gender,educational background and academic background on the basis of the model.Thirdly,by consulting the literature of refining the general college students'employment competency model,the paper compares the difference between the core competency standard model and the general college students' employment competency model in Fintech enterprises,analyses the reasons of the difference,and reflects the particularity of the core competency standard model for college students' employment in Fintech enterprises.Finally,this study reflects on the limitations of research methods,sample selection and the lack of applied research.Based on these shortcomings,the future of the study is further prospected.It is hoped that this study can use more targeted methods in the future,select more extensive samples and make the model more widely used.The final conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The core competency standard model for university students in Fintech enterprises is divided into single significant competency and double significant competency,among which the single significant competency includes eight competency standards:pressure resistance ability,execution ability,pioneering spirit,logical thinking ability,adaptability ability,professional knowledge,understanding ability and self-confidence;the double significant competency includes information acquisition ability,innovation spirit,initiative,result orientation and responsibility.(2)There are significant differences in educational background and academic background between the core competency standard model of university students in Fintech enterprises,but there is no significant difference in gender.(3)The difference between the standard core competency model of University Students' employment in Fintech enterprises and the general model of University Students' employment competency reflects in the aspects of professional knowledge,creative spirit and result orientation.
