Under the requirement of accelerating the construction of education system in modern society,to enhance the quality of talent training of vocational college,promoting teachers' teaching ability plays an important part in quality promotion of vocational college teacher in our country.In China,the thought of teaching scholarism was firstly put into use at institutions of higher education.In recent years,the teaching management of some higher vocational colleges has gradually introduced the teaching academic thoughts.The application and promotion of teaching academic in higher vocational colleges management provides a new perspective for higher vocational teachers to improve their teaching ability.Advocating teaching is a teaching academic thought of an academic,which puts teaching and scientific research in the same position and enjoys the same treatment.As an important part of teaching academic,teaching ability also has academic characteristic.Research on problems related to teaching ability is also an academic behavior.Meanwhile,cooperation is a crucial feature to higher vocational education.Theoretical guidance will be provided to take efficiently cooperative teaching activity and to enhance cooperation skill and teaching academic ability for vocational teacher.Besides,learning organization theory which bases on the core theory of "establishing common aim,emphasizing teamwork learning and accomplishing self-transcendence" has positive influences on teacher team's knowledge sharing,cooperative learning,self-improvement,etc.So the vitality of the professional development of teachers can be maintained and the ability of the entire teaching staff can be enhanced through establishing learning teachers' organization.On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign research on cooperation and promotion of higher vocational teachers' teaching ability,this analyzes the constituent elements of higher vocational teachers ' teaching ability.In addition,3100 questionnaires were sent to 45 vocational colleges in Guangdong province and 1534 questionnaires were returned from 41 vocational colleges,but 1104 valid questionnaires were collected.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire,the current teaching ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges has some problems such as lack of motivation,lack of cooperation,weak practical teaching ability,insufficient teaching innovation ability and imperfect incentive policies.The following strategies are proposed under the guidance of teaching academic,cooperative learning and learning organization theory.First,we should base on cooperation of teachers and improve teaching ability.Second,we should strengthen our teaching ability by relying on the cooperation platform of colleges and universities.Third,we should optimize the organizational culture of higher vocational colleges to guarantee the teaching ability.
