With the rapid development of China's economy and urban-rural integration,the trend of population movement and family has become increasingly prominent.After migrant children follow their parents to the new environment,adapting to new life has become an important issue for them.Research shows that childhood is in a critical period of self-confidence,and good self-confidence can help migrant children adapt quickly to the new living environment.Therefore,the improvement of self-confidence of migrant children has certain research value.This research relies on the Wuhan Y Community Managed Service Project and the Y Community Trust Center as a practical location.Through field research and research,it is very necessary to carry out the work of the mobile child self-confidence group for the Y community.Therefore,the author selects the Y community.The 10 migrant children are members of the self-confidence growth group.Before the group work,the self-confidence of the 10 migrant children was analyzed through questionnaires,interviews and field observations.They mainly showed:not adapting to the current urban life;lack of personal opinion and independent thinking;Actively express yourself;have a low sense of self-identity and do not have a correct understanding and evaluation of yourself.The mobile child self-confidence growth group is based on the advantages and social ecosystem theory,mainly from the three aspects of enhancing the self-awareness of the team members,exploring the members' own advantages,and improving the enthusiasm and initiative of the team members,a total of five unit group activities were carried out.The author evaluated the effectiveness of the group's work through process evaluation and effectiveness evaluation.The results of the assessment indicate that the increase in self-confidence of the children involved in the work of the group is effective.The self-confidence of migrant children has been significantly improved,which is manifested in self-awareness,interactive participation,initiative and enthusiasm,and improved interpersonal communication skills.Finally,the author summarizes and analyzes the advantages and limitations of the self-confidence improvement service of the group work,and reflects on the group work involved in the improvement of the self-confidence of migrant children and the social work involved in migrant children.Although the Mobile Child Self-Confidence Improvement Team has achieved certain results,the research has some limitations due to the lack of practical experience of the author.For example,the evaluation indicators are not detailed enough,there is no follow-up of the service targets,and there is no target for each group member.Specific improvement programs,therefore,the author hopes that this study can provide new ideas for group work involved in migrant children,and provide a new direction for social work intervention in migrant children.
