Since the reform and opening up,China's middle class has grown rapidly,and the government has repeatedly proposed the policy goal of "increasing the proportion of middle-income people".While making use of policy advantages to continuously obtain material interests,the middle class also attaches great importance to the acquisition and inheritance of cultural capital.In the final analysis,the acquisition of cultural capital lies in education and the starting point of education in the family.Family is the key to individual growth and development because family education is the education that the individual receives the earliest and is deeply influenced by,which has a direct impact on the development of a person's life and his life happiness.How to educate children in middle class families has never been presented to the public in a systematic way.The characteristics of middle class family moral education,the existing problems,the causes and how to solve the problems are the initial motivation for this study.Through the structural interview with the parents of 15 middle class primary school students in Wuhan,this paper summarizes the characteristics of middle class family moral education.Middle class parents have good moral quality and they put great emphasis on the development of children's moral quality;Besides,they are committed to cultivate good faith in the individual and also try to develop their children' morality both in severe and kind ways.However,the interview results also show that there are some problems in the middle class family moral education,such as self-centerness,poor consciousness of rules,addiction to games,parents' lack of time and energy,bad family moral education environment and passive moral education cooperation between families and schools.The reasons leading to these problems are various.In a word,they are mainly as follows:under the social transformation,the middle class undertakes great pressure in life,which leads to a general anxiety;The disordered development of technology and the hidden disharmonious factors in the family results in a bad moral education environment;The change of family structure leads to the phenomenon of"only child".The children who lack peer interaction and have doting parents tend to ignore others and focus on their own needs.In family education,it is difficult to cultivate individual's awareness of rules if the parents are not very rational.The pushiness of schools and the absence of parents.To solve the problems in the moral education of middle class families,this paper attempts to explore and improve measures from the following aspects:relieving the middle class' anxiety from two dimensions:improving the policy system,enhancing the sense of security and cultivating a good mentality;Improving the environment of family moral education from three respects:optimizing the online and social environment as well as family moral education environment;fostering the goal of family moral education basing on two traditional moral education ideas:self-cultivation and family-regulating;Perfecting the family moral education in two ways:cultivating the sense of rules and giving rewards and punishments reasonably;deepening the family-school moral education cooperation by focusing on the two main bodies.
