Research On Online Education Strategy Of World-class Universities

So far,online education has become a tendency,and first-class universities have become the leader of online education,and correct strategic guidance plays a decisive role.They judge the situation,develop an effective online education strategy,and actively promote the development of online education.Taking the orientation of online education of first-class universities as a clue,this study believes that its strategic process has gone through three stages,namely,from promoting online distance education to promoting the co-construction and sharing of online education resources to gradually integrating it into the higher education system.Each of these strategic shifts has led to changes deeply in the area of online education.At present,more and more top universities are developing online education strategies or merging online education into their long-term strategic development plans.These strategies mainly include:Firstly,establishing the brand of online education.Quality is the key factor of brand strategy;Secondly,building strategic alliances.The alliance between colleges and universities and the alliance between colleges and enterprises are two main modes of alliance.Thirdly,ensuring openness and innovation to be driver of online education at the same time;Lastly,establishing a sound support service system.Through doing above strategies,they continue to promote the development of online education in universities,enhance the reputation of universities and their influence on the global scale,promote the education and teaching research in universities,and promote the reform of education.Harvard University is one of the top universities in the world and plays a leading role in online education.In order to promoting the development of online education,Harvard University has mainly formulated the following online education strategies:Firstly,it always adhere to the principle of quality first;Secondly,improving technology to enhance students'online learning experience;Thirdly,encouraging online education experiments to improve school education;Fourthly,actively exploring multiple profit models to promote the sustainable development of online education;Fifthly,promoting knowledge dissemination and life-long learning.By sharing online knowledge and learning from expanding online education programs,it is building global learning communities and partnerships.At present,the online education of colleges and universities in China is under the preliminary exploration stage,and exposing many problems,there is a great distance compared with the world-class university.The world first-class university online education strategic has the following several suggestions about online education at institutions of higher learning in our country.firstly,we need clear the orientation of online education in university;Secondly,we should make it a priority to ensure the quality of online education.Thirdly,we should strengthen domestic and foreign strategic cooperation.Through it,building online education brands with domestic characteristics.Fourthly,Building a sound support service system.
