Promoting the transformation of exam-oriented education into quality-oriented education is the basic direction of deepening education reform in China.At present,China's quality-oriented education reform has entered a new stage with the key competences education as the focus.How to realize the practical transformation of the key competences education concept is a common subject faced by the circle of theoretical and the practice.As a part of school education,physical education plays a unique role in cultivating students' key competences.However,in the traditional school education,especially in the junior high school stage,the educational significance and status of the physical education curriculum has not been valued for a long time.Through a combination of policy analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical investigation,this study aims to explore the broader educational value of physical education curriculum in the era of key competences,reconstruct the junior middle school physical education curriculum,expand the way to cultivate key competences,and further promote quality education.First of all,by sorting out the policies during the period from quality education to key competences research,analyzing the development needs of people in the new economic society,combining with the sports experts,education experts,the principal and teachers of X middle school,teasts out the junior middle school students today the most need to develop key competences,namely the practice innovation ability,independent ability,learning ability,team cooperation ability,emotion regulation ability.As a special form of education,physical education has a unique value in cultivating the key competences of junior high school students.The construction and implementation of physical education curriculum is a feasible way to cultivate the key competences of junior high school students.However,from the current situation of junior middle school physical education curriculum construction in China,it is obviously unable to achieve the goal of cultivating students' key competences.Physical education and its curriculum construction are generally valued in developed countries,this study analyzes the physical education curriculum construction in juniorhigh school of United States,Britain and Japan,including the curriculum goal,curriculum content,curriculum implementation,curriculum evaluation and the specific implementation of key competences cultivation of students,so as to provide reference for our country junior high school physical education curriculum reconstruction.Although the junior middle school sports in China in general is not very desirable,but there are still samples of paying attention to sports and actively exploring the construction of physical education curriculum,this study evaluation by key competences education thought as the basis,for X middle school physical education curriculum construction by the case analysis,through the questionnaire survey was conducted among 301 students from grade one to grade three,analyzed the advanced experience and deficiency in the goal,content,evaluation and learning effect of physical education curriculum.On the basis of the previous research,this study proposes the basic scheme of reconstructing the junior middle school physical education curriculum,attempts to provide reference for the junior middle school to optimize the physical education curriculum and improves the cultivation ability of students' key competences.The research founds that,in the era of attaching great importance to students' key competences,junior high school physical education curriculum has extensive and unique educational value,and it has special advantages in cultivating students' practical innovation ability,independent ability,learning ability,teamwork ability,emotion regulation ability and so on.This means that the value of physical education curriculum construction in the cultivation of students' key competences needs to be further explored.And the practice of physical education curriculum of United States,Britain and Japan proves this point.In terms of curriculum objectives,three countries all emphasize students' understanding and cognition of physical education curriculum,the social value of physical education curriculum,and the role of goal guidance;In terms of course content,the activity items are rich,facing all students,paying attention to individual differences and expanding the field of students' participation in sports activities;In the course implementation,pay attention to give full play to the national characteristics of teaching;In the course evaluation,emphasis is placed onthe diversity of evaluation subjects and methods to cultivate students' independent,practical innovation,learning and other abilities.This provides the overseas experience which is worth using for reference for our country physical education curriculum reform.The case study of X middle school also has important enlightening value.In the PE curriculum construction of this school,teachers and students have an objective understanding of the objectives of PE curriculum.School sports have some diversity;Theoretical knowledge of sports health and safety;Teaching is basically student-centered;The overall curriculum effect is good,such as learning ability,practical ability,independent ability,teamwork ability,etc.The results also show that the school often participate in physical exercise students than do not often participate in physical exercise students in the curriculum effect is more outstanding.At the same time,the physical education curriculum construction of school also has some deficiencies,the educational value of the physical education curriculum needs to be deepened;The school sports association project lacks the safeguard of the thorough study;The curriculum of physical education theory pays little attention to students' appreciation ability and the significance of school physical education.Teachers lack attention to individual differences in curriculum implementation.The evaluation methods are not diversified enough,the evaluation basis lacks the attention to the comprehensive quality of students,and the evaluation process and standards are not practical enough.In terms of curriculum effect,the cultivation of innovation ability and emotion regulation ability is a little weak.On the basis of theoretical analysis,international comparison and empirical research,this paper puts forward the basic scheme of reconstructing physical education curriculum.Firstly,the guiding ideology of students' all-round development and the guiding principles of education,science and openness are established.Secondly,it constructs the subject project of junior middle school physical education curriculum,including the establishment of curriculum objectives based on the cultivation of key competences;Developing diversified course content;Implementation of open curriculum teaching and diverse,professional curriculum evaluation.Finally,the author puts forward the safeguard measures for the new curriculum construction of junior middle school physicaleducation,including strictly following the policy guidance and establishing the important position of physical education in the school education system.Strengthening the leadership for giving full play to the leading role of the principal in strengthening the school physical education curriculum construction;Promoting the professional development of PE teachers to build a team of expert PE teachers;Improving the PE curriculum investment and evaluation mechanism to mobilize the enthusiasm of PE curriculum innovation.
