As one of the characteristics of American higher education,the appoi ntment system of university presidents is a key part of the board system,which effectively ensures the fairness and justice of university presidents in terms of procedures and plays a role in promoting the professionalism and comprehensive quality of university presidents to a certain extent.C hina is actively promoting the reform of eliminating the administrative ref orm of colleges and universities,and exploring the reform of the selection system of principals of private colleges and universities in line with Chi nese characteristics.However,from the perspective of the current practice of private colleges and universities,there is a phenomenon of thousands o f private colleges and universities at the same time.Can the President ca ndidates'understanding of private colleges and universities and the cultural symbols accumulated in the course of running schools be integrated into the standards of employment system?It is one of the factors that determ ine whether private colleges and universities in China can have their own characteristics and enhance their competitiveness in the stage of higher e ducation popularization to popularization.Articles from the current our co untry private colleges to hire the universality of practice,points out the e xisting problems and taking nanning institute as an example for empirical interviews,found that there are the following problems:1.The informati on asymmetry,lack of transparency in the selection process(2)stakeholde rs participate in the form of a single 3.The academic power in the progr am is not clear 4.Evaluation system is too rigid 5.The principal role co gnitive lack of cultural concerns.According to the existing problems,find out the countermeasures at the present stage,in order to promote the pri vate colleges and universities through the introduction of high-quality prin cipals,so as to enhance the advantages of private colleges and universitie s in the competition.
