With the rapid development of society,the status of mathematical knowledge,mathematics,and mathematics has become increasingly important in computer technology,financial architecture,and even philosophy.China is a big country in agriculture,and rural population and rural students still account for the majority.Therefore,we must pay more attention to the cultivation of mathematics abilities for rural students.In terms of internal factors,rural students lack strategies in learning methods,study habits,etc.In terms of external factors,rural students are far more disparity with urban students in terms of teacher resources,hardware facilities,and learning environment.External difficulties exist objectively and cannot be changed,so only internal factors can be changed.By consulting a large number of literature,the author believes that the most long-term and effective way to improve students' mathematical ability and core quality of mathematics is to cultivate students' mathematical reading ability.Therefore,it is an urgent task to cultivate rural students' ability to improve math reading.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part: Introduction.Including the research background,research purpose and significance,research content and route.The second part: the literature review and the definition of core concepts.The literature review includes mathematics language,general reading,mathematics reading,mathematics reading influencing factors,mathematics reading teaching research.The core concept definition includes the definition of reading,math reading,and math reading ability.The third part: Questionnaire research on mathematics reading ability of rural junior high school students and interviews with rural teachers.The research shows that rural junior high school students are not very interested in reading mathematics,and the motives for reading are mostly to cope with examinations.Rural junior high school students lack the method of mathematics reading and do not develop good mathematics reading habits;rural junior high school students have less mathematics reading and mathematics reading ability.The aspect is low;the mathematics reading environment of junior middle school students in rural areas is poor,and parents and teachers do not pay enough attention to mathematics reading.The fourth part: The strategies for training junior high school students' reading ability.Based on the conclusions of the survey,this article summarizes the five principles,two approaches,and four strategies for cultivating mathematics reading ability in rural junior high school students.The five principles are the combination of cultivating interest and setting goals,combining active reading and passive reading,combining reading and presentation,layering training and cooperation,and combining meta-cognition with the most recent development area.The way in class is mainly to guide students to read different types of teaching materials,including concept categories,formulas,theorems,examples and summary of this chapter.The way under the curriculum is to carry out various activities,including carrying out “mathematical speeches” activities,writing math reading experiences,and developing math reading interest groups.The four strategies include stimulating math reading interest,improving math reading methods,expanding math reading content,and optimizing math reading environment.
