A Case Study On The Investigation Of High School Teachers' Information-based Teaching Ability In Longchang County Under The Information Environment

With the application of information technology in education,earth-shaking changes have taken place in teachers' teaching views and students' learning beliefs because of the concept of educational information.In the process of education informatization and modernization,teachers' informatization teaching ability is the key content in the combination of information technology and subject teaching,and it can promote the development of teachers' professional abilities.Whether the information teaching ability of high school teachers in the western region can keep up with the challenges of education in the new era is worthy of our attention.Longchang County,in Sichuan Province,is located in the western part of China.The information technology hardware and environment facilities of high schools here are lacking,compared with the central and eastern regions in China.Although the information environment is limited,most of the teachers have received the training of the “Public Education Teaching Ability Improvement Project for Primary and Secondary School Teachers”,which has improved teachers' information literacy.In order to know more about the current situation and problems of the information teaching ability of high school teachers in the Longchang County after the training,we have done this research.The author selects high schools teachers from three senior high schools of Longchang as the survey object to do the in-depth research on the level of informatization teaching ability of local high school teachers,and try to explore ways and means to improve teachers' informatization teaching ability.First of all,the author consults a large number of literature materials of teachers' informatization teaching ability and analyzes the concept,structure,evaluation system and investigation methods of it.And then the author summarizes the results and shortcomings of existing researches.In response to the characteristics of high school teachers in the western region,with the help of the "information technology application ability standards for primary and secondary school teachers(trial)" documents,the author divides teachers' informatization teaching ability into five dimensions:informational teaching quality,informational teaching plan and preparation ability,information teaching and monitoring capabilities,informatization teaching assessment and diagnosis capabilities,and information-based teaching learning and development.Drawing on existing literature,we designed a rating scale tool for teachers' informatization teaching ability,and selected high school teachers from the three senior high schools in this county as a sample to explore the current situation and existing problems of teachers' informatization teaching ability.Secondly,the author randomly selected 20 teachers as samples to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.The results showed that the highest coefficient of each dimension of the questionnaire was 0.991,and the lowest coefficient was 0.971,both of which were greater than 0.8,indicating that the overall reliability of the questionnaire was good.The highest kmo value of each dimension was 0.835,and the lowest kmo value was 0.646,both of which were greater than 0.6,indicating that the validity of the questionnaire was good.Subsequently,questionnaires were distributed in the teacher work groups of the three schools,which is through the questionnaire star platform,toensure the accuracy of the questionnaires.Questionnaire is collected after a week.And the author firstly checked the data to clean up all the same scores in the filling form and the data below 60 seconds,and then used spss17.0 for statistical analysis of the data,including 1)basic information of the teacher,including gender,age,teaching age,position,title,education,teaching department,statistical analysis of the school;2)the description and analysis of the different dimensions of the teacher's informatization teaching ability;3)the analysis of the ability degree of each dimension;4)demographic difference analysis of teachers' informatization teaching ability,and the analysis of each dimension ability and informatization teaching ability(comprehensive index).The data results shows that the level of informatization teaching ability of high school teachers in Longchang County is basically qualified,among which teachers have the highest level of information-based teaching literacy,with an average value of 4.143,and target proportion is 100%.Teachers have a very good awareness and attitude of information-based teaching.The average value of teachers' information teaching plan and preparation ability is 3.474,which is lower than the comprehensive level of teachers' information teaching ability,and target proportion is 9.09%.The average value of teachers' information teaching ability to evaluate and diagnose is 3.48,and target proportion is 0%.Teachers' information ability to evaluate and feedback is very poor,but they have a very strong sense of overall information teaching.They lack the ability to use technical resources and digital education resources,and they are weak in analyzing teaching,and designing information-based teaching strategies and designing predictive problem solutions.At the same time,teachers are also very weak in the ability to use evaluation tools and reflect on teaching by using information-based means.There is no significant difference in the informatization teaching ability of teachers in different genders,different academic qualifications,different teaching subjects,and different schools.The young teachers in the age group are slightly stronger than the old teachers,and the professional titles are higher.The low secondary teacher ability is higher than that of the senior and primary teachers.Finally,12 teachers from three schools were selected as samples for in-depth interviews,and the results of interviews and questionnaire data were analyzed.It was found that there were some problems and reasons in the development of information-based teaching ability of the three high school teachers in Longchang County,due to the lack of theoretical knowledge of teachers' information-based teaching,the lack of environmental support for the construction of campus information technology,and the lack of management of information technology resources.The lack of mechanism and training for teachers' ability to use "technical resources" leads to the low theoretical and technical literacy of teachers' information-based teaching.What's more,the lack of enthusiasm for practical application of teachers,the singleness of school information-based teaching resources and school information-based teaching platform,the lack of development and guarantee mechanism of information-based teaching ability,and the lack of pertinence in training methods and contents of information-based subject teaching ability are all main factors.As a result,teachers' teaching ability of informationized subject is weak.And teachers' learning and development of Informationized Teaching are limited due to the lack of edification ofthe concept and atmosphere of campus informationized teaching,weak awareness of teachers' communication and mutual assistance,lack of learning development planning,and lack of rationality of training.On the basis of summarizing the current situation and problems existing in the development of ability level,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the Informationized Teaching Ability of high school teachers in Longchang County,such as strengthening teachers' Informationized Teaching Quality by enriching teachers' theoretical literacy,enriching the construction of campus informationized facilities environment,improving the management strategy of informationized facilities,organizing technical operation training,and mutual assistance of teachers,etc.Regional resource bank and "smart campus" provide resources are guaranteed for teachers,organize training for weak abilities in various dimensions,strengthen the supervision of routine management of information-based teaching,improve teachers' status from the aspects of national policies,teachers' treatment,school welfare and so on,and a series of internal and external measures to enhance teachers' information-based subject teaching ability;improve professional ability development body through training teachers' confidence;set the department and the establishment of "learning community" to learn from each other to complete vocational planning to guide teachers' professional development,to optimize training methods,training content,training management and other aspects to promote teachers' learning and development of information-based teaching.All these are supposed to offer useful guidance suggestions to improve teachers' information-based teaching ability.The research data analysis mainly analyzes the current situation of teachers' informatization teaching ability,and the next step is to further explore the factors affecting teachers' informatization teaching ability which is for strategies to improve the level of teachers' informatization ability.
