On Spiritual Social Work Of Dying Old People

As the most important content of hospice care,spiritual care has its unique significance.How to let the dying elderly in love and companionship peacefully,joyfully and peacefully to complete the final journey of life? How does social work intervene in the spiritual care services for the dying elderly? is something we should be concerned about.Based on the analysis of the theory,values and methods of the spiritual care service for the dying old people in A City Love and Care Center for the Elderly,this paper tries to probe into the related path of social work intervention in the spiritual care service for the dying old people.This paper chooses A city love and accompanying old people care center as the research object,This paper analyzes and summarizes the basic situation of this institution,the norms of service behavior,the theoretical basis and values of service,the ten technologies of service,the service process and service content of the dying old people's spiritual care service.Through the analysis and summary,the success of A city's care and care center for the elderly is inseparable from the spiritual perspective that it contains.The values,service objectives and action methods contained in the spiritual social work are practical and feasible in intervening in the spiritual care services for the dying elderly,and the necessity of the social work intervention in the spiritual care services for the dying elderly is further analyzed.Finally,based on the analysis and development of the cases,this paper puts forward four suggestions on theintervention of social work in the spiritual care services for the dying elderly: the theoretical aspect is based on the theory of advantage perspective,the theory of meaning therapy and the theory of seeking the cure.In the aspect of professional method,the thesis mainly discusses from two aspects: the assessment of spiritual needs and the skill of spiritual care.Social workers themselves,including,inter alia,professional education and spiritual support for social workers;Social work organization level,including the organization's personnel training,theory construction,practical exploration of the feasibility of the three aspects of construction.
