On June 13,1999,the CPC State Council issued the Decision of the CPC State Council on deepening education reform and promoting quality-oriented education in an all-round way(hereinafter referred to as the Decision).The Decision states: aesthetic cannot cultivate sentiment and improve literacy,but also can help develop intelligence,which plays an irreplaceable role in promoting students' all-round development.Music education,as an important part of aesthetic education,cannot only cultivate sentiments,improve literacy and develop intelligence,but also plays an irreplaceable role in promoting students' all-round development.Rural music education is an important part of quality education of primary and middle schools in China.China is a large agricultural country with 50.32% rural population,based which rural music education is particularly important and prominent in quality education of primary and middle schools in China.However,in reality,due to the natural environment and social environment,from the perspectives of teachers,teaching equipment and teaching facilities,the status quo of rural music education in China is not optimistic.Rural music education in China has long been in a relatively backward state,and even suffered from a slow development and stagnation.How to deal with the development of the relative backwardness and stagnation of rural music education in our country has become the key to enhance the quality education of primary and secondary schools in our country.The focus that most music educators should attend to and think about is to dig out the problems for the relative backwardness and stagnation of music education in our country and countermeasures for them.The author who has once engaged in music education in a rural primary school for five years has a more profound thoughts and insights on music education in rural areas.After collecting research literature and analyzing the current situation of Anle village in Dafang County,Bijie Prefecture,the author proposes countermeasures to improve rural primary school music education of Dafang County in combination with his own teaching practice and theoretical research.This thesis is divided into four parts.the first part is the introduction which includes research background,the significance,research purpose,research framework and relative researches at home and abroad;The second part investigates the current situation of music teaching of five village primary schools in Anle Village,Dafang County,including Anle Primary School,Xinmin Primary School,Baiyan Primary School,Baigong Primary School,Pianpo Primary School;The third part comprehensively analyzes and elaborates main factors hindering the rural primary school music education development in Anle Village from five perspectives of teachers,education funding,school leaders,teachers and students;The fourth part elaborates effective countermeasures to develop the rural primary school music education in Dafang County on the basis of the previous part.
