These years,with the reform of China's higher education,the gross enrollment rate of colleges and universities has continued to grow.China has built the world's largest higher education system.However,the quality of university personnel training still has great problems.The development model of colleges and universities urgently needs to shift from scale expansion to connotation development.As a new force in colleges and universities,young teachers are an important source of energy for achieving double-level construction in universities and achieving the goal of strengthening the country through education.The level of teaching ability is directly related to the sustainable development of colleges and universities and the quality of personnel training.Therefore,a comprehensive understanding of the status quo and influencing factors of the teaching ability of young teachers in colleges and universities,and based on this,in-depth exploration of the effective path to enhance their teaching ability has become an urgent problem to be solved.Based on this background,this research according to the theory of lifelong education,teacher professional development stage theory and teaching academic theory as the theoretical basis,using literature research,questionnaire survey and interviews as the research methods,selection some young teaches from Northwest A&F University,Northwest University and ShanXi University 0f Science & Technology as the research object,from their satisfaction and intent to ascend of their teaching ability,teaching cognition ability,teaching organization ability,teaching implementation and control ability and teaching research ability,understand the present situation and increase demand of young university teachers' teaching abilities.On the basis of data statistics and current situation analysis,the problems and causes of the teaching ability of young teachers in colleges and universities are discussed.The study shows that young teachers have problems of lack of teaching cognitive ability,insufficient teaching organization ability,their teaching implementation and control ability need to improve,and their teaching research ability are limited.There are many reasons for the problems in teaching ability.This study mainly analyzes the four aspects of the reasons,include knowledge structure of young teachers,the internal motivation of teaching ability improvement,the support of school teaching ability and the related system construction.In view of the situation of young university teachers' teaching ability and its influencing factors,this study put forward the corresponding ascension path to promote the developmentof young teachers' teaching ability: young teachers should adjust their structure and consolidate the foundation of teaching ability,improve the consciousness of independent development,set up the teaching idea of "back to duty",the pursuit of life-long learning,pay attention to teaching reflection.At the same time,the school should provide a platform for the improvement of young teachers' teaching ability,improve the teacher evaluation system,build a multi-level training system for young teachers' teaching ability,and create a benign teaching and mutual assistance environment.
