The “main problem” can make a splash in the classroom.As an important teaching concept in teaching,it can effectively break the situation of “broken questions and answers” in classroom teaching,improve the efficiency,save students and teachers from the false busy classroom,and make the classroom logic and interesting.The effect of the “main problem” is equal to that of a number of normal problems.It directly affects the effectiveness of classroom teaching.Therefore,the design of the main problem has received more and more attention from language educators.However,there are still many problems in the design of the main problem.On the basis of the questionnaire,the author made a preliminary exploration of the design of the “main problem” in contemporary Chinese prose teaching in senior high schools of Baota District,Yan'an.The paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes research motivation,theoretical basis,literature review,research significance and methods,providing a background introduction for the thesis.The second part analyzes the selection and characteristics of proses in Chinese textbooks(PEP edition)in senior high schools.It mainly includes the requirements of the curriculum standards for the contemporary prose teaching in senior high school,the selection of proses in Chinese textbooks(PEP edition)in senior high schools and the textual features,which lays a solid foundation for the thesis.The third part introduces the premise and principle of the design of the main problem in contemporary prose teaching in senior high schools and offers theoretical guidance for the analysis of the problems in the design of the main problem and the related solutions.The following two parts show findings of the investigation of main problem design in the contemporary prose teaching,including the problems and problem analysis.The problems mainly include improper design of the target,improper design of the difficulty level,improper design of the gradient,and improper design of the uniqueness;and the factors that lead to these problems are as follows: 1.The teacher does not correctly understand the concept of the main problem;2.The teacher does not highlight the subjective position of the student in the prose teaching;3.The teacher does not interpret the prose text in detail.These two parts together lay an analytical foundation for the final part,the optimization strategy for the main problem design in contemporary prose teaching in senior high schools.In response to the specific problems and the causes in the design of the main problems elaborated in the first two parts,the last part puts forward specific solutions.The last part mainly includes three sections: 1.Emphasis on the rational interpretation of proses and clarify the teaching objectives of main problem;2.Pay attention to the students' learning situation and clarify the difficulty of the main problem;3.Emphasize the principle of phase and grasp the gradient of the main problem.
