| In the context of curriculum reform,the issue of principals’ curriculum leadership has become a hot topic for education researchers.The core of the research is: under the background of “moral education” and “development of students’ core competencies”,and under the condition of three-level curriculum management of the state,local and school,how to give full play to the subjective initiative of principals,implement the real curriculum leadership of principals and improve the curriculum leadership of principals in the course of curriculum reform.After studying the relevant theories of core competencies and curriculum leadership of principals in China and some other countries,this paper analyzes the current situation,problems and causes of curriculum leadership of principals in district N by means of questionnaire survey and interview from the perspective of investigation and research,and puts forward solutions.The structure of the article is as follows:The introduction presents the puzzles about curriculum leadership felt by primary and secondary school principals in the N district,the research background,research purpose,research method and research significance,under the background of the course reform.The first part explains the connotation of the curriculum leadership of the primary and secondary school principals,and interprets the eight elements: apprehension of core competencies,apprehension of curriculum value,planning of curriculum,integration of course system,the leadership of curriculum development,organization of curriculum,guidance of curriculum evaluation,construction of course culture.The second part mainly analyzes the current situation of curriculum leadership of primary and secondary school principals on the basis of investigation and research.Namely,despite we place high emphasis on core competence,our knowledge of the value of curriculum leadership is inaccurate,the integration of the curriculum system is not enough,scarcity of innovation in curriculum research,The course implementation is not strong enough,lack of course evaluation monitor;the poor creation of curriculum culture.The third part analyzes the internal and external factors that influence the curriculum leadership of primary and secondary school principals.The fourth part puts forward the strategies to improve the core competencies for curriculum leadership of primary and secondary school principals based on the internal and external factors.Internal factors comprise of : the educational concept of "moral education",the curriculum concept of "based on core competence,the integration of the curriculum system that " points to core competence ",researches on how to " inspire core competence”,the implementation the courses that "generates core competence",the adjustment of the curriculum evaluation that "advocates core competence",the creation of the curriculum culture that "cultivates core competence".The external factors comprise of: policy guidance for strengthening and promoting curriculum leadership,the development of curriculum standards based on core competencies,the delegation of curriculum leadership by the department of education administration,emphasis on curriculum leadership during the selection of principals,the curriculum leadership training for primary and secondary school principals,the curriculum leadership under the principal-directed system. |
