Chinese Language Teaching is an important part of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.In recent years,the teaching objects of Chinese Language Teaching have become younger.In order to improve the case study of Chinese Teaching for Young Children in Philippines,this paper uses a combination of questionnaire survey,interview survey and case analysis to investigate and analyze the Chinese language teaching situation of the young children by taking the Philippine Tongho Institute for instance.The study is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,significance,summary and ideas of the research.The second part analyzes the current situation of Chinese Teaching for Young Children in Philippines from the four aspects of development history,environmental factors,teaching objects and teaching situation,and lays a theoretical foundation for the following.The third part analyzes the development of Chinese Teaching for Young Children in Tongho Institute from the perspectives of students,teachers and parents,and provides a realistic basis for the following.The fourth part which is based on the conclusions of the third part,analyzes the Chinese language classroom for young children from four aspects:teaching content,classroom activities,teaching resources and classroom management The fifth part is based on the analysis of the fourth part,reflecting on Chinese Teaching for Young Children in Philippines and making recommendations.The conclusion part summarizes the main conclusions of this study,affirms the innovation,and points out the shortcomings of this research.Thus,the study draws the following conclusions:First,Chinese Teaching for Young Children in Philippines is a second language teaching aimed at young children in Philippines,with the stimulation of Chinese language interest,the cultivation of listening and speaking ability and the perception of Chinese culture as the teaching goal.Second,the design of teaching activities should fully consider the characteristics of young children,emphasize enlightenment,start with cognition,build real scenes for young children,play the imagination of young children,make children become the protagonist of the story,and enhance the sense of experience of young children,besides,the design of teaching activities must satisfy the psychological needs of young children and increase the possibility of language output.Third,in the terms of Chinese Classroom Teaching for Young Children,teachers should promote the comprehensive development of children's multiple intelligences through rhythm,stories,games,etc.Then,teachers should improve the practicality and utilization of teaching resources,and create a good space environment for children through environmental creation.In addition,teachers should also strengthen the routine training of young children,help children develop good classroom habits through teaching passwords,and improve the effectiveness of teachers' classroom language.
