Sense of life meaning refers to the degree of an individual's the sense of purpose and value of self-existence.Sense of life meaning plays an important role in predicting a person's mental health.Studies show the lack of sense of life meaning can lead to mental problems and suicide behaviors.Junior school students are in a period of forming values of life and the world.During this period,teenagers become sensitive,mutable and easily feel lonely empty and worried.At the same time,they have strong motivation to find their own sense of life meaning.Therefore,it is an important stage for a teenager to form sense of life meaning.Two researches are included in this paper.The first research is a survey using?Meaning in Life Questionnaire?.It' s carried out among 441 students in Guangzhou No.89 School to investigate situation about their sense of life meaning.According to research results,40 students with low marks of sense of life meaning are selected.These students will be divided into two groups randomly,with 20 in experimental and control group.The experimental group will receive group coaching once a week for 8 weeks while the control group will not have any group coaching.The conclusion of the research:1.The junior school students in Guangzhou get good marks in sense of life meaning test.They have a better sense of life meaning than the presence of meaning.2.1here is no significance among sex,grade and whether the subjects are the only child.3.Group coaching has a degree of effect on improving junior students' sense of life meaning.
