Nowadays,it is actively promoted that using quality-oriented education.More and more experts advocate the teaching mode of "autonomy,cooperation and inquiry".In this situation,the case teaching as a teaching method,has been generally used.Timely and reasonable application of case teaching contributes to changing traditional teaching methods,highlighting students'status during the study,cultivating students' ability to verify and improving their teaching effect.But there are still some problems in the actual usage of case teaching.For example,that the case and theory are separated,teachers'roles are improper,actual discussion has little effect and questions setting are not reasonable enough are typical problems.To improve the effect of case teaching in political lessons in high schools,the author has made deep investment and found out problems and analyzed the cause.Based on these,some feasible measures are put forward,which has important theoretical value and practical significance.The paper firstly gives a clear explanation of the usage of case teaching in political lessons in high schools,which is the core concept of case teaching.According that,the importance of using case teaching in political lessons in high schools is elaborated.The paper focuses on the analysis of the outstanding problems in using case teaching.it mainly consists of that both teachers and students can't understand the case teaching correctly;during the discussion of cases,many students don't think or talk;the cases don't match the reality of students and teaching objectives and other problems.Focused on problems,the author analyzes the main reasons of using case teaching from different angles like teachers,students,the teaching process and so on.And the suggestions from five aspects are also put forward.In this paper,many methods such as literature analysis,action research,case study method and interview study method are used.On the basis of teaching practice,combined with the characteristics of ideological and political courses and the experience of my own teaching practice,this paper discusses the problems of case teaching and how to solve in ideological and political courses from both theoretical and practical aspects.In order to improve the effectiveness of case teaching as far as possible in the ideological and political lesson.
