In the era of globalization,the development of society requires innovative talents with aesthetic qualities.In school education,especially art appreciation,it plays a huge role in improving students' aesthetic quality.Today's art education runs through the entire learning process of a student from kindergarten to high school.The status of the high school art appreciation class has also become more prominent.However,in the traditional teaching environment,the status quo of high school art appreciation teaching is not optimistic,such as the lack of enthusiasm of students in the art appreciation class,the efficiency of classroom teaching,the cancellation or occupation of art appreciation classes.This paper analyzes the shortcomings of high school art appreciation teaching,and hopes to play an active role in my art teaching practice and inspire others.Through a large number of relevant materials,this thesis conducts horizontal research and comparison of "effective teaching" at home and abroad,from the effective teaching to the current research for vertical comparison.Under the guidance of the effective teaching concept,the effective teaching methods are explored—effective teaching,classroom discussion,role change,combination of operation and practice.Taking high school students as research objects,carrying out experimental research,theoretical research,case studies,etc.I studied the current situation of art appreciation teaching in primary and secondary schools in China through the study of high school art curriculum standards and analysis of art textbooks,and revealed the problems in teaching.According to the previous survey results and the author's own teaching experience for several years,it is indicated that due to the influence of the test-oriented education,the high school art appreciation class is often occupied by classes,the art teachers are marginalized,the art teachers are part-time other subjects or transferred,students and School leaders have not recognized the art appreciation class enough,and the evaluation of art teaching is unreasonable,and proposed corresponding solutions.According to the existing problems,the author proposes ways to respond to students,teachers,and schools.1.Students should change their minds to understand the importance of art appreciation classes;the role of art classrooms changes,students go to the platform to become masters of the classroom;classroom group cooperative learning.2.Teachers should learn for life,improve their self-cultivation;change teachers' teaching methods,develop and utilize local resources;modern technology and multimedia technology combine flexible use of rich teaching methods;teachers should always reflect and improve teaching enthusiasm.3.The school establishes a reasonable evaluation mechanism to care for teachers,pay attention to the growth of teachers,so as to better promote the implementation of quality education;at the same time,in order to respond to the basic requirements of quality education of the Ministry of Education,cooperate with the new curriculum reform,improve the effectiveness of the teaching of art appreciation courses.
