Confirming Identity is the pursuit of man's whole life.It is the subjective feeling of continuity and consistency of the individual, and also the answer to the questions of self-worth and meaning of life. However,in the process of seeking Identity, individuals also face the challenge of identity crisis. If you fall, you may lose sense of subjectivity and, initiative, and ability to recognize yourself objectively and to plans for the future, thereby endangering your physical and mental health. The high school period is a critical period for the development of adolescents' self-identity.However,it is during this period that they are facing a surge of psychological conflicts and pressures for further studies. At the same time, they are facing the significant choices in life-how to choose the college and major. The current situation shows that most high school students are at a loss regarding the choices of major and plans for future career. The lack of clarity about their own strengths and weaknesses, values, career interests, and abilities,as well as their lack of understanding of university majors and social occupations, makes high school students difficult when facing career decisions.Career decision-making difficulties are difficulties that occur when an individual does not know what occupation to engage in when making a final decision in the process of career selection(in entry stage or career change). As a result, high school students face the dual psychological challenges of crisis of Identity and difficulties in career decision-making.How to help them through this period is a topic that education practitioners need to pay great attention to.However, the career education can help students cope with and deal with these crises. Therefore, exploring the current characteristics of high school students' Identity development, exploring the relationship between their Identity development and career decision-making difficulties, and further developing career educational courses to intervene in the development of high-school students' Identity and career decision-making difficulties. It is of great value in guiding high school students' mental health education and career development.Based on literature analysis, this study takes high school students as the research object, uses questionnaire survey methods, and uses the techniques such as significance test of differences, correlation analysis, and regression analysis to analyze the current status of high school students' Identity and its relationship with career decision-making difficulties. An intervention course for career education was further developed. After a one-year career educational courses intervention, the impact of career educational courses on high school students' Identity and career decision-making difficulties was examined. The study reached the following conclusions:(1)The overall development level of high school students Identity is not high, and it is in the initial stage and exploration stage. The number of people in A-F status and M-D status is the largest, accounting for more than 60% of the total number;the number of A status is about 10%,and the number of D status is the lowest.(2)There is no difference in high school students' self-identity in whether they are only children, and there are significant differences in gender, grade, and place of residence: female students are significantly higher than male students in their " future self-investment tendency ";Sophomore's scores in " future self-investment tendency " was significantly higher than that of senior one;the psychological tendency of "current self-investment" of urban students was significantly higher than that of rural students.(3)High school students with different identity status have significant differences in their career decision-making difficulties. The higher the identity status, the less difficult their career decision-making is.(4)All the dimensions of high school students' self-identity are significantly related to the total scores of professional decision-making difficulties,“lack of preparation”,and "information exploration difficulties" scores;“conflicts” are significantly related to "current self-investment" and "future self-investment tendency".(5)Career decision-making difficulties of high school students have a significant predictive effect on their self-identity: “lack of preparation” has a significant negative predictive effect on all dimensions of identity;“information exploration difficulties” on " current self-investment " and " future self-investment tendency " Has a significant negative predictive effect;“conflicts” have a significant positive predictive effect on " past crises ".(6)The intervention of career educational courses has a significant effect on the difficulties of career decision-making of high school students, and the degree of difficulties has been significantly reduced, mainly in terms of “lack of preparation” and “future self-investment tendency”.(7)The intervention of career educational courses has a partial effect on the development of high school students' Identity, which is reflected in significantly increasing their "desire to invest in the future".
