Under the background of knowledge economy explosion,a new round of curriculum reform is in progress,and the reform of high school history textbooks is an important part.In the new edition of "outline of Chinese and foreign history textbook",great adjustments have been made to the curriculum arrangement,text and auxiliary system,especially in the design of the structure and content of the auxiliary system of the text,which has become novel and diversified,so I choose the "Exploration and Expansion" column in the auxiliary system as the research object of the thesis."Exploration and Expansion" column exercises are designed around the goal of history teaching.They are located behind the text system and are used by learners to consolidate or think about various forms of teaching content.In the process of history teaching,they have the functions of consolidating the learned history knowledge,stimulating the interest of history learning,developing students' innovative thinking and cultivating students' feelings of home and country.They are the process of history teaching.It is an indispensable teaching material.Now because of the lack of the guidance of scientific theory,goal setting and guide way is not in place,and problem sets evaluation mechanism is not sound,cause to "Exploration and Expansion" in the teaching can't play a good effect.Thus properly solve the three problems,effectively raise to "Exploration and Expansion" as the carrier of history textbook exercises using effect is imperative.Based on the three questions of "when and where to apply the exercises","how to use the exercises" and "how to improve the exercise evaluation mechanism",the author combines the PBL teaching mode,according to the steps of "creating situations,generating confusion","determining problems,triggering thinking","collecting data,reasoning and demonstration","communicating with each other,forming results","displaying evaluation,sublimating summary" Suddenly,it puts forward strategies on how to use the column of "Exploration and Expansion" efficiently.The practice shows that the correct use of "Exploration and Expansion" column can not only give full play to the role of the new history textbook,but also expand thestudents' historical knowledge,activate the atmosphere of history class,improve the students' ability of organizing and expressing historical language,and cultivate the students' Cultivation of exploring historical problems.Of course,there are still some problems in the "Exploration and Expansion" column,such as the length is too large,the difficulty is high,and the annotation is not in place,which brings some obstacles to the teaching practice of front-line teachers,hoping to improve in the future reprint.
