| Teaching quality is the lifeline of higher education,which directly related to the ordinary university's survival and sustainable development.Constructing teaching quality guarantee system,carrying out work about the teaching quality monitoring is an important link to improve the teaching quality of normal colleges and universities.Based on total quality management theory,system science theory and the education evaluation theory,method of literature research,investigation,interview,statistical analysis,comparative research and empirical research are used,policies of "construction,promote renovation through evaluation,combining to the evaluation and promotion," emphasizing the construction are carried out in this paper to evaluate the teaching quality monitoring work of undergraduate course of common colleges and universities in our country.This article first clarifies the related concepts involved in the study.And then,comparing the teaching quality monitoring work of undergraduate course of common colleges and universities in Britain,American,Japan,Germany with that in our country,in order to sum up the way to improve the teaching quality monitoring work of undergraduate course of common colleges and universities in China from four aspects.Again based on the theory of education assessment,the objectives,principles and functions of constructing comprehensive evaluation index system of teaching quality monitoring work have been discussed in this thesis.On this basis,from the four dimensions to build the evaluation index system.Finally,take the Nantong university as the evaluation object,the job of undergraduate course teaching quality evaluation has been empirically researched,and then put forward the improvement suggestions.Research results show that: firstly,evaluation of teaching quality monitoring work for undergraduate course in colleges and universities in our country started relatively late,the evaluation system and long-term mechanism concerning teaching quality is not yet perfect,there is still a gap compared with that in Britain,American,Japan and Germany.Secondly,compared with other domestic colleges and universities,concerning the monitoring work of undergraduate teaching quality,Nantong University possesses the advantages of starting earlier,possessing perfect systems,and mechanism works well,gaining the obvious achievement.But there is still improving and rising space in the field of working out quality standards,developing monitoring content,asking multiple subject to participate in and the evaluation of monitoring job. |
