With the rapid development of the times,the demand for high-quality talents from the state and society is increasing,and the demands of the people for continuing education and lifelong learning are increasing.With the advent of the digital era,the advantages of open,flexible,convenient,and efficient distance education have become increasingly prominent.In order to meet the learning needs of the general public,China has continued to promote the development of distance education,and distance education is in the ascendant.In recent years,with the continuous development of distance education technology,the quality of distance education has become the core area of competition among distance education institutions.Each institution has begun to focus on further improving the quality of teaching interactions in order to improve the satisfaction of education service customers and provide institutions with Sustainable development provides strong support and guarantee.Attaching importance to the quality of teaching interaction and ignoring other elements of education quality has led to problems in non-standardized enrollment,lack of policies and measures,and emphasis on teaching over scientific research,which is not conducive to the development of distance education.Timely consideration of the constituent elements of the quality of distance education institutions to ensure the comprehensive development of each element is the key to ensuring the quality of distance education and improving competitiveness.Therefore,this paper attempts to construct an effective evaluation index system for the quality of distance education,to provide a way for timely discovery of quality problems in education,and to escort the sustainable development of distance education institutions.This article first uses the Cipp theoretical model as a guide,investigates the current status of distance education quality from the perspective of teachers and students,then identifies the content elements of distance education quality evaluation based on the theory of total quality management,and analyzes in detail the components of the evaluation content system: strategy and Management,specialty and curriculum design,teaching interaction,learner support,faculty support,scientific research and service,and quality evaluation;on this basis,combined with the research results of distance education quality evaluation,select distance education quality evaluation indicators,and add The indicators set for the quality of distance education form an index system;experts are invited to conduct two rounds of preliminary investigation on the index system to determine the evaluation index system;finally,data verification analysis is performed to obtain the distance education evaluation index system.In order to verify the validity of the constructed evaluation index,the distance education students are invited to evaluate the evaluation index constructed in this paper,and perform factor analysis through the evaluation results to verify the effectiveness of the constructed evaluation index system.Through factor analysis,the results obtained are generally consistent with the constructed indicator system,which proves that the distance education quality evaluation indicators constructed in this paper have certain validity.Based on the constructed system,problems can be found and improved in time to improve the quality of distance education..The constructed evaluation indicators can be used not only for self-evaluation of distance education institutions,but also for comparison between institutions to find loopholes and deficiencies,and optimize and improve according to the evaluation results,so that distance education is moving towards a more systematic and scientific direction.All-round development,providing a steady stream of high-quality talents for the country.
