With the rapid development of science and technology,innovation as a basic competence,has been widely concerned around the world.In 2016,China has published the “key competencies of Chinese students' development”,which include innovation and practice.While the demand for talents has changed,the malpractice of traditional education is becoming more and more obvious.Cultivating students' innovative consciousness,innovative ability and practical ability has become the focus of current education reform.Undoubtedly,Maker Education provide a new idea and method for educators to carry out educational reform and explore how to cultivate students' innovative practical literacy in school.Maker Education is a concept which incursion the idea of "Maker" to teaching.In Maker Education student develop their innovative thinking,innovative consciousness and innovative ability through hands-on operation.At present,the research on Maker Education in China is still in the exploratory stage.How to combine school education with Maker Education is the focus of current research.Through analyzing the relevant data,this study summarizes the characteristics of Maker Education.First,the goal is develop student's innovation ability.second,the method is practice.third,the Learning Outcomes is a visual work.Fourth,the learning assistance is sharing and communication.Based on these four basic characteristics,and constructivism learning theory,design learning theory,innovative education theory and "learning by doing" theory,this study constructs a junior middle school information technology teaching mode based on Maker Education.And this study takes the part of unit 3 "looking for magic tools" of the grade seven's information technology course as an example to design and implement the education experiment.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it is concluded that the information technology teaching model of junior middle school based on Maker Education can improve students' learning Interest,academic achievement,as well as innovation consciousness and innovation ability.
