The whole book reading has deeper research potential and extensive teaching application value.In "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards"(2017 Edition),the entire book reading this expression appears 18 times,and runs through the three courses of compulsory,selective compulsory,and elective courses.With the in-depth development of Chinese curriculum reform,topic learning can better respect students' subject status and learning rights in the face of the answers to actual problems,and transfer knowledge to knowledge construction,which greatly improves the efficiency of high school Chinese classroom learning.The reading of the whole book is more directed to the reading of the text itself,and the special study is the combination of open text reading and the symbiosis of reading and writing,which can promote the improvement of students' thinking quality and language ability in listening,speaking,reading and writing.The thematic whole book reading of this research is based on The Old Man and the Sea as the core reading material.Based on the driving learning task,with the help of the Internet,students conduct in-depth research on the original work from multiple angles and levels.This study adapts to the development of high school Chinese education,and based on the spiritual growth of high school students,explores an optimized and effective teaching model.On the basis of following the theory and practice,combined with the first grade of senior middle school students in Chenggong District of Kunming City and the situation of students,we designed a targeted and feasible activity program for reading the whole book.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is "project-based learning into the teaching of the whole book reading," the relevant discussion.Discussed the consideration of implementing thematic whole book reading separately;discussed the characteristics,evaluation methods and theoretical basis of reading thematic whole book.The second is the construction of the whole book reading framework for topic learning,which discusses strategy construction and program construction,respectively,to provide support for instructional design.The second part introduces the teaching design,which relates to the topic learning of whole structure of The Old Man and Sea.This section mainly deals with instructional design instructions and the process of implementation.The third part is the implementation and feedback of reading teaching for the whole book,The Old Man and the Sea.This part mainly summarizes the implementation of reading the whole book of The Old Man and the Sea,summarizes and refines the problems in practical exploration,and reflects on relevant content to provide teaching suggestions for teachers' teaching.This article starts from the theory and practice,and reads the whole book with The Old Man and the Sea as an example.Taking into account the current situation of reading the whole book and the form of topical learning,as well as the school situation and academic situation,actively explored an effective teaching mode.Solve the reading problems faced by students in the exploration of free and autonomous reading learning,and strive to be helpful to the implementation and improvement of topical teaching of the whole book reading.At the same time,I hope this research can provide some references for related educators.
