From September 2016,the textbook titles of "Morality and life" and "Ideology and morality" have been changed to ?morality and law? at primary and junior middle schools.In September 2017,primary and junior middle schools nationwide uniformly used the textbook ?morality and law? compiled by the ministry versions.The new curriculum reform requires the emphasis on subjectivity,comprehensiveness and practicality,so the textbooks compiled by the basis from The curriculum standards of compulsory education ideology and morality(2011),?Outline of legal education for youth?(2016)and other documents,and constantly innovated with the development of the country and the changes of social situation.In terms of content,it integrates the knowledge and content of the new textbook.The textbook's content presses close to students' life,Classroom teaching focuses on students' practical experience;In terms of textbook function,"small column" module has been added to the textbook,which carries the function of learning "knowledge" through activities.Each category and activity has its specific function,the intention designed by textbook writers and the concept in new curriculum reform&curriculum standards,it passes the latest concept of education to teachers and students;In terms of form,the content of "small columns" is consistent with the theme of epoch topic.It presented in the form of current affairs news,celebrity stories and legal columns,etc.,and its content is short and concise,which can quickly catch students' attention.Firstly,analysis the content of "small column",and discuss the connotation,Including the exploratory,participatory,development,practical and comprehensive,for "small column" the necessity and importance of setting,its necessity is mainly embodied in the curriculum standard of message,the inherent requirement of text teaching and the real needs of the development of students,the basic principle is discussed,including directional principle,value principle,active principle and openness principle.Secondly,clarifying the setting and current situation of "small column" in textbook ?morality and the rule of law?,including the distribution statistics of various "small column" in textbook,this paper analyzes the distribution of "small columns" in teaching materials from both the whole and the part,and analyzes the use of "small columns" in teaching by using data;In addition,analyzing the problems existing in using process of "small column" in new textbook based on the data,it mainly reflects in three aspects: teachers' insufficient understanding of the connotation of "small columns",superficial contents,single teaching form and effectiveness need to be strengthened.Furthermore,finding out the reasons through the problems,such as compiling textbooks in a very short time,the teaching hardware and software facilities need to be improved,and the construction of teachers needs to be reinforced.Finally,in order to disposing the problems faced by teachers in the use of the new textbooks,the study gives three constructive suggestions based on the ?morality and the rule of law?: paying attention to the value of column,improving ability and quality;changing the teaching methods,improving learning efficiency;developing teaching resources,enriching the content of the column.
