In order to implement the requirements of the national education policy and the spirit of the curriculum standards,and put the requirements of fostering virtue through education into practice,the Ministry of Education started the compilation of the textbook"Morality and the Rule of Law" for compulsory education textbooks in junior high school in 2012,and renamed the curriculum "Ideology and Morality" as "Morality and the Rule of Law" in 2016.Compared to the old textbook "Ideology and Morality",the ideas of compilation and design,and types of activities of the "Morality and the Rule of Law" textbooks have seen major changes.As a major feature of new textbooks is the six new types of columns,among which the "Exploration and Sharing" column has become a bright spot.With largest number,dense distribution,various forms and contents,it has become an important part in the teaching of morality and the rule of law in junior high school.The setting of the "Exploration and Sharing" column is in line with the requirements of the curriculum reform of basic education.On the one hand,it perfects the function of the textbook and adopts the form of "activity+problem" which can further optimize the teaching structure and help to build not only a new teaching mode,but also a situational,exploratory and cooperative teaching model.On the other hand,it involves a wide range of knowledge and contents,which opens up a new path for this subject's teaching in and out of the classroom and is conducive to improving the quality and interest of teaching.This thesis takes the "Exploration and Sharing" column in the textbook of "Morality and the Rule of Law" compiled by the Ministry of Education as the research object.This paper is divided into three parts,of which the second part and the third part are the focus of this paper.The first part discusses the importance of setting up the "Exploration and Share" column in the textbook of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school.There are five main aspects:it is the need to fully implement the Party's education policy in the new era;it is the need to explore new ways round of curriculum reform of basic education;it is the need to carry out the spirit of the new curriculum standard;it is the need to optimize the teaching structure and improve the function of textbook;it is the need to change the teaching concepts and improve the comprehensive quality of teachers.The second part makes a detailed analysis of the "Exploration and Share" column of the textbook of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in junior high school.Firstly,the author clarifies the number and distribution characteristics of the "Exploration and Sharing"column.Secondly,according to the question form and different requirements in the"Exploration and Sharing" column,the author roughly divides the column into five categories:analysis class,discrimination class,explanation class,practice class and comprehensive exploration class,and illustrates and analyzes each type of the column with examples in accordance with the content of the textbook.Thirdly,the author analyzes the main characteristics of the "Exploration and Sharing" column,that is ideology,process,subjectivity,practicality,exploration and diversity.Fourthly,the author expounds the basic functions of the "Exploration and Sharing" column from four aspects:promoting content connection and optimizing teaching process;enhancing learning interest and stimulating internal motivation;facilitating inspiration and induction,and focusing on cooperation and exploration;achieving curricular goals and cultivating the core accomplishment of the subject.Finally,the author puts forward the problems of the"Exploration and Sharing" column,such as the difficulty of teachers'selection due to the large number of columns;the level of some columns conflicts with the students' ability level;the content of some columns is too exaggerated or too limited which lacks authenticity and availability;the theme of some columns is not clear,which affects its teaching value.After that,the author analyzes these problems with the content of the textbook.On the basis of a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the "Exploration and Sharing" column in the second part,the author expounds the enlightenment of the analysis and research of the "Exploration and Sharing" column to teaching in the third part:We should renew the educational concept and attach importance to the teaching value of the column;change teaching methods and pay attention to the application steps of the column;develop teaching resources and expand the application space of the column;highlight students' main position and improve students'enthusiasm and participation;and be good at choosing and integrating the content of textbooks.
