According to the characteristics of children's physical and mental development,children in primary school are in a very strong plasticity stage due to the stages of physical and mental development,which is the golden critical period of physical and mental development.Therefore,it is particularly important to do a good job in the physical and mental healthy development of primary school students.The study found that physical exercise can not only effectively improve children's physical level,but also can well improve children's mental health level.Therefore,the intervention of physical exercise is also urgent and necessary.But how to scientifically and reasonably formulate the content of physical exercise classes,so that children in their childhood stage can not only get fast experience but also achieve the purpose of exercise?The physical fitness training course for children can not only bring a certain amount of exercise to children,but also promote the muscle,development and bone growth of primary school students,increase metabolism,promote organ development and improve sensory disorders,cultivate good exercise habits,and also enable children to obtain joy in specific activities,thus forming a cheerful,lively character,making friends,enhancing the vitality and concentration of primary school students,and cultivating their positive and upward excellent qualities.In this study,the subjects of primary school students in grade 3 and grade 4 of Jimei primary school in Xiamen city are chosen.58 students in grade 3 and grade 4 of the experimental group and 54 students in grade 3 and grade 4 of the control group are selected for a controlled experiment.112 students in total are given a 16-week physical fitness training in the physical education class of the experimental class.only ordinary physical education classes are conducted in the controlled class.the psychological health assessment scale for primary school students is used as the basis for evaluating the experimental effect.This paper attempts to study the effect of physical fitness training on the mental health of primary school students,aiming at analyzing more accurate and targeted fitness training methods to improve mental health.The experimental results are as follows:1.Experimental classes pupils through the fitness training for 16 weeks after intervention experiment teaching,the scale scores before and after the contrast experiment,analysis:through fitness training,primary school students in mental health indexes such as the mean show significant difference(p<0.05),while special obstacles in learning disabilities product defects and psychological indexes such as there was no significant differences(p>0.05),so the fitness trainingon mood disorders character flaws disorders society to adapt to bad habits and behavior have a positive effect,product defects and special obstacles in learning disabilities no positive effect2.By analyzing the mean scores before and after the experiment between the experimental class and the control class,it can be seen that the average scores of the experimental class have a significant decrease,P<0.05,indicating that there is a significant difference in the mental health of the two classes after the experiment,and that the physical fitness training is helpful to the improvement of the mental health of the pupils.
