Research On Spatial Disparity Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of The Development Of Chinese Express Industry

The express delivery industry has become an important industry and new growth point of China's national economy.It plays an active and important role in all aspects.The relevant state agencies also attach great importance to the development of the express delivery industry.The development environment of the express delivery industry is increasingly optimized.However,there is a strong imbalance in the development of China's express delivery industry,and the moderate imbalance between regions is beneficial to the development of express delivery industry and the economy,and if the imbalance is excessive,it is not conducive to the healthy and sustainable development of express delivery industry and the economy.Therefore,this article analyzes spatial disparity characteristics and influencing factors of the development of Chinese express industry,and strives to find a way to promote the relatively balanced development of China's express delivery industry.The main research content is as follows:Firstly,the article reviews relevant literatures and finds the deficiencies of current research in related fields,and points out the research direction of this article and introduces related concepts and theories,and lays a solid foundation for research.Secondly,the article analyzes the spatial disparity characteristics of the express delivery industry in China from three levels.The article use the Locational Gini indices to analyze the overall difference degree of China's express delivery industry,and use the regional decomposition formula of the Locational Gini indices to analyze the disparities(including intra-regional disparities and inter-regional disparities)and relative marginal effects of China's express delivery industry in the four major economic regions of the eastern,central,western,and northeast regions,and use location entropy to analyze the specialization level of China's express delivery industry in 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities).The research results show that the overall spatial disparity of China's express delivery industry is too high,and the intra-regional disparity,especially the intra-regional disparity in eastern region,play a leading role,but the inter-regional disparities must not be ignored,and the central,western and northeast regions should adopt fiscal policies that are conducive to the development of the express delivery industry and the specialization levels in Shanghai,Zhejiang,Guangdong,and Beijing are far higher than the national average.Thirdly,the article analyzes the influencing factors of the development of the express delivery industry.The relevant research hypotheses were put forward based on the analysis of the development factors of the express delivery industry,then the article designs variables,collects data,performs the correlation analysis,eliminates three variables,and uses spatial econometric methods to analyze the influencing factors of the development of the express delivery industry and comes up with valuable conclusions.The research results show that the development level of information technology,human capital,and transportation infrastructure have a positive effect on the development of the express delivery industry,and the level of government intervention has no significant effect on the development of the express delivery industry,and the development of e-commerce and the express delivery industry is not coordinated,and the level of transportation infrastructure construction,government intervention,and the development of the express delivery industry have a spatial spillover effect.Finally,the article gives some suggestions from the balanced development path of the regional express delivery industry and the upgrade path of the express delivery industry in backward areas based on conclusions drawn from the analysis of spatial disparity characteristics and influencing factors of the development of Chinese Express Industry for promoting the relatively balanced development of China's express delivery industry.
