Nowadays,the society has entered the Internet era.The popularization of mobile Internet has led people to rely on various mobile communication technology to communicate and deal with various affairs in their daily life.The use of mobile communication technology can shorten the distance between people and make individual's life more convenience,on the other hand,to fulfill work demands,people can work at anytime and anywhere.Therefore,in both work and non-work domain there were many different "phubbing",for they not only use communication technology in the specific domain(e.g.,home domain)processing of the related affairs,but also deal with some non-related affairs(e.g.,work domain).So that individuals often have to move across domains,which means that they are more possible to be affected by things in some domain(such as work)when they physically in othe domain(such as home).Foreign scholars have been doing research on the influence of interdisciplinary use of communication technology and become increasingly mature,which has accumulated certain theoretical and empirical results.But researchers focus more on work-related communication technology use at home,and whether such kind of behavior will affect individual's psychological detechment,therefore our understanding on the process of work-related communication technology use at home influencing individual well-being is still very limited,and for the influence nonwork-related communication technology use at work bring is also blurred.However,the boundary theory and the Conservation of Resource theory provides the possibility to further explore the mechanism of how the using behavior of communication technology can affect well-being of individual.Therefore,this study based on the boundary theory and the Conservation of Resource theory,use diary study method and online questionnaires,discusses the impact of work-related communication technology use at home and nonwork-related communication technology use at work on employee's well-being(life satisfaction,job satisfaction)and the mechanism,respectively.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Employees' daily work-related smartphone use at home can negatively predict daily life satisfaction,while daily nonwork-related smartphone use at work can significantly predict daily job satisfaction negatively.2.Employees' daily work-related smartphone use at home will reduce daily life satisfaction through daily psychological detechment but not daily recovery state.3.Daily psychological detachment will affect employee's daily life satisfaction through daily family-self facilitation;But recovery state will not affect daily life satisfaction through daily family-self facilitation.4.Although employee's daily work-self facilitation can significantly predict daily job satisfaction positively,daily nonwork-related smartphone use at work will not be related to daily job satisfaction via daily work-self facilitation.5.Daily work-related smartphone use at home would hinder the process of daily psychological detachment,then reduce the level of daily family-self facilitation,therefore affect daily life satisfaction of employees.6.The relationship between daily work-related smartphone use at home and daily psychological detachment will be moderated by motivation of smartphone use.If employee is actively using smartphone to handle the related tasks,then he/she will be more likely to have psychological detachment after completing the task.However,if external factors are passive the use of smartphones,it is not conducive to employees'psychological detachment.7.In work domain,employees' boundary-management norms will interact with each other,especially when they are in the same group.Compared with employees who perceive low segmentation norm,employees perceived high segmentation norm,their daily nonwork-related smartphone use in the work domain will improve the level of daily work-self facilitation.The conclusion in this study expanded the application range of the boundary theory and the Conservation of Resource theory,in the meantime,we provide certain theory basis for individual to manage their cross-domain behaviors and adjust their own state at individual level.While at organizational level,it provides practical suggestions for the organization to improve employees' job satisfaction and to create more positive organizational climate.
