2018 Interpretation Practice Report For The Training Program For Tourism Development And Environmental Protection Officials In Developing Countries

This is a report on the practice of consecutive interpreting between English and Chinese,which mainly describes one interpreting task conducted by the author of the report(here after referred to as the author),at the Seminar on Tourism Development and Environmental Protection for the Developing Countries of 2018.The report includes project description,task process,case analysis and personal experience.Through the analysis and summary of this task,the author believes that the interpreter should be capable of knowing how the language works and doing well in precise wording and phrasing,expressing fluently in order to ensure the successful completion of the interpreting task.In addition,the author has come to the following conclusion: First,the preparation should be more thorough;after interpreting task,the interpreter should look back upon the interpreting process and summarize her own strengths and weaknesses as a student interpreter.The author will make continuous progress in her future interpretation practice.
