In 2017,Shandong became the province for the second batch of China's National College Entrance Examination Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Site,following Shanghai and Zhejiang.After that,the “Shandong Provincial New National College Entrance Examination Reform Plan”(hereinafter abbreviated as the “Reform Plan”)was published,which will be implemented as a whole in 2020 to form a National College Entrance Examination Enrolment model featuring comprehensive evaluation and diverse admissions,and build a just,orderly,and scientific National College Entrance Examination enrolment system with vigorously monitoring.Introduction of the “3+3” model and “two bases + one reference” system to the “Reform Plan” can not only improve the National College Entrance Examination enrolment system,but also provide a brand-new subject selection plan for candidates.On the basis of an in-depth interpretation of the “Shandong Provincial New National College Entrance Examination Reform Plan” and according to the subject selection system of the subject performance construction system,including single subject capability analysis,subject selection plan and comprehensive quality assessment,this paper aims at helping students and parents immediately grasp of the subject selection intention of China's National College Entrance Examination,and making effective adjustments in response to subject advantages and disadvantages.First of all,students' single-subject competitiveness analysis report is built.The freshmen of Grade 10 in a Qingdao high school participating in the “Reform Plan” are chosen as research objects.According to the subject grading principle and original grade conversion formula in the “Reform Plan”,the grading principle and the grade conversion formula are designed for every subject for students' convenient of learning their subject performance level among students of a whole grade.Next,factor analysis is used to divide the nine subjects into four kinds of abilities,and a radar map is offered for ability analysis,deepening of students' knowledge of their ability development status and performance,students' grasp of core competence and avoidance of subjects they are poor.Next,the combination of subjects for the National College Entrance Examination is built.This paper provides subject selection guidance from the perspective of subject performance and interest,respectively.On the one hand,from the perspective of operational research,the relatively conservative minimum-maximum regret value method is combined to judge merits and demerits of subject combinations according to opportunity losses of various subject combinations.The focus is on analysis of students' performance,and the subject combination which is beneficial to form students' competitiveness of academic performance is chosen.On the other hand,limitations of college majors are taken into consideration,and it is held that subject selection should pay more attention to students' interest and majors.After ensuring that the chosen subject can ensure a higher probability to get chosen by the major which a student is interested in,the attention is paid to selecting other subjects accordance to academic performance.Moreover,comprehensive evaluation is an important reference index for colleges' student enrolment and also a vigorous method to realize enrolment diversification.According to literature review and practical situations of Shandong,the hierarchical analysis method is adopted to identify the weight of various index factors,and students' comprehensive quality scores are calculated at an attempt to help students gain a general picture of which level their qualities and abilities are at and also provide students with valuable references for their decision of further development and scientific selection of subjects.Finally,modern information technologies,including computer and big data analysis,are employed to develop the webpage system based on original scores,converted scores,and subject abilities.The system allows students to log in their own accounts to check their academic performance analysis.Meanwhile,this system provides a platform for students to analyze their subject performance and interest,thus effectively selecting subjects for their National College Entrance Examination.
