Research On The Status Quo Of Professional Maturity Of Postgraduates In Education

Career maturity reflects the level of individual career development and directly affects individual career choice.At present,career maturity has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad,with rich research results.However,as a branch of this field,the research on career maturity of postgraduates has not attracted the attention of scholars,and the research results are limited,which need to be constantly supplemented and improved by scholars.In view of this,this study selected master's degree students in education as the object,investigated and analyzed the current situation of the group's vocational maturity,and put forward corresponding Suggestions and countermeasures to help improve the level of their career maturity and make them make a reasonable career choice and planning,so as to improve the group's employment rate and the quality of employment.This paper adopts the questionnaire named "career maturity scale" which is compiled by Zhiyong Zhang for Chinese college students,and conducts a sample survey on master of education students in N university.On the basis of this,we have a descriptive statistical analysis and differential analysis of the career maturity of the graduate students of the university of education,and the correlation between professional maturity and career choice is analyzed.According to the results of the analysis,the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward for the improvement of career maturity level of master of education graduates.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.The basic characteristics of master of education:the serious imbalance between male and female;The phenomenon of interdisciplinary study is common and most students have no work experience.Family economy is medium level in the majority,rural student source is in the majority.2.The overall level of career maturity of master of education students has reached the basic maturity level,which is at the medium level.The scores of the six dimensions are not very high,and the development of each dimension is unbalanced.3.There is no significant difference in the career maturity of master of education graduates with different genders and different family economic levels.However,there are differences in the career maturity of master of education graduates with different degrees in the dimensions of work experience,major,cross-major type and student origin.4.The overall level of career maturity of master of education students is positively correlated with expected salary,employment city level and career stability,and negatively correlated with occupational compromise.5.With regard to the improvement of career maturity level of master of education graduates,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions from two aspects:the attitude of correct career choice and the ability to cultivate career choice.
