The ability of children’s peer communication is very important in the process of children’s growth.Children’s peer communication ability formed on the basis of peer communication.In kindergarten,there is a lack of relevant courses.In this study,3-4-year-old children in small class are taken as the research object.Through the intervention of theme activities of picture book in peer communication,we can explore whether the theme activities of picture book can promote the peer communication ability of children in small class,and then we can work out an effective intervention model of theme activities of picture book.In this study,60 children in two classes of a public kindergarten in Nankai District of Tianjin were selected as the research objects,one class was the experimental class,the other was the control class.Through the 8-week theme activity of picture book,the experimental intervention was carried out on the experimental class children.Then,by comparing the pre intervention and post intervention,the paper analyzed whether the theme activity of picture book can promote the peer communication ability of the small class children.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)picture book thematic activities can promote the peer communication ability of children in small class;(2)picture book thematic activities can increase peer communication prosocial behavior,improve language and non-language,enhance social initiative,improve social barriers,and promote peer communication ability of children in many ways.In view of the above research conclusions,the educational suggestions of this study are as follows:(1)to promote children’s peer communication ability through picture book theme activities;(2)to promote children’s peer communication ability through home cooperative education;(3)to provide children with loose language expression environment,to promote children’s peer communication ability;(4)to guide children to master some basic communication skills,to be able to Promote children’s peer communication ability;(5)provide more opportunities for children’s communication,which can promote children’s peer communication ability.
