As the saying goes: "Each place has its own way of supporting its own inhabitants." Regional characteristics not only reflect the living environment,lifestyle and attitude of the people whose live in a certain region,but also reflect the regional culture of the region.Regional culture should be both innovative and inherited.In 2001,The Outline of Curriculum Reform in Basic Education(Trial)issued by China clearly pointed out that three-level(national,local and school levels)curriculum management should be implemented,so as to enhance the adaptability of curriculum to local authorities,schools and students.School-based curriculum not only provides a convenient carrier of "cultural export" for the "communicators" of regional culture,but also serves as a bridge between national curriculum and local curriculum.School-based courses with strong regional characteristics are also recognized by more and more people for their unique value.This paper adopt the method of Case Study,We choose Wuhan S Primary School’s school-based curriculum "Cars Education Culture" as a case,choose the sixth grade students in Wuhan S Primary School are take part in both achievement test and student questionnaire in the research.The achievement test’s questions all come from the book named Cars Culture which made by the teachers and students in Wuhan S Primary school.We matched students name from the two surveys.The results show that 80% of the students come from the "car made family",but there is no significant correlation with the background of student’s family.Students have a high interest in learning,a wide range of knowledge,can actively learn,and have a good command of the course Cars Culture,they have a strong emotion for the school and regional culture.The course of "Cars Education Culture" has a variety of learning methods,which can be implemented efficiently and with high quality,and the learning effect is relatively significant.However,there are some problems,such as such as students’ unsatisfactory utilization of regional resources,students’ learning status of school-based courses of graduation grade,and loopholes in the evaluation system of school-based courses.In order to ensure that regional school-based curriculum can not only inherit local culture but also develop students’ core qualities,this paper believes that curriculumresearchers and educational media should review the value of regional school-based curriculum,and should do a good job in publicity while strengthening research efforts.Enterprises and individuals should provide convenient curriculum resources for school curriculum so that the school can realize innovation in teaching mode.Wuhan S Primary School should make full use of its strengths and avoid its weaknesses.While constantly improving the curriculum system of Wuhan S Primary School to solve the problems,it should also make good use of all opportunities to publicize its own experience to other schools,so as to provide case references for other schools.
