With the advancement of urbanization in China,agricultural production factors centered on land,labor force and capital continue to transfer to industry and service industry.The population still engaged in agricultural production activities has not been separated from land,showing a decreasing trend,and the trend of peasant citizenship transferred to cities and towns is becoming more and more obvious.In order to adapt to the changes of life,production relations and environment,it is particularly important to enhance farmers’ social identity of citizenization.Since the reform and opening up,urbanization has developed rapidly,and citizenization has become a research topic.In recent years,the new subject of "peasant citizenization" has been widely concerned by the society,and many regions have implemented the work of "village to house" and house demolition.Although urbanization has developed rapidly and has certain advantages in recent years,it is not the better the scale of urbanization is,but the social identity of peasants should be strengthened under the existing scale.Therefore,it is of great significance to select samples scientifically and conduct empirical research on the problem of peasant citizenization,which has gradually become the focus of research.Based on the above theoretical and practical background,this paper,from the perspective of peasant citizenization social identity,collates the relevant literature on the process of urbanization,peasant citizenization,peasant citizenization social identity and its influencing factors at home and abroad,and takes Maslow’s hierarchy of demand theory,social identity theory and social network theory as the research basis.Firstly,the process of urbanization,peasant citizenization and society are studied.This paper defines and elaborates the concept of social identity,carries out a questionnaire survey among 840 transitional groups in Yantai City,and summarizes the current situation and characteristics of farmers’ Citizenization in Yantai City in the process of urbanization at the emergence stage;carries out principal component analysis on the selected influencing factors using SPSS 22.0 statistical software,and then deeply analyses the farmers’ citizenization social recognition in Yantai City by establishing a logistic regression model.The same influencing factors.The results show that:(1)Increasing income can promote thetransition from peasants to citizens;(2)the willingness of peasants to become citizens is affected by their educational level;(3)the agricultural household registration to urban household registration becomes the passport for citizens;(4)the orientation of peasants to become citizens is affected by consumption concept;(5)the social identity of peasants to become citizens needs to be improved.Based on the above research,this paper gives some effective suggestions for the peasants’ citizenization social identity in Yantai: according to the situation of peasants’ citizenization social identity in Yantai,we should increase peasants’ employment channels and increase peasants’ income;actively carry out recreational activities to create a humanistic atmosphere;gradually implement the household registration system to support the change of household registration;cultivate peasants’ consumption awareness and share diverse social reforms;Begin with the individual and become a real citizen.
