Along with the establishment and consummation of modern corporate system,the performance appraisal system of corporations is also undergoing major transformation.In China,with the improvement of market economic system,it is necessary to build a more thorough performance appraisal system,which can be consistent with the developing trend of reform in modern corporations.Our traditional performance appraisal system mainly made a point of financial indicators of companies,however,the modern corporate performance appraisal system focuses on the overall development of companies.Building a balanced scorecard performance appraisal system(BSC)can help corporations achieve this goal well.Except for the financial indicators,the BSC also pays attention to the other indicators which are closely related to the development of corporations.Besides,the traditional goal management system focuses on the control of employees' executive process,while the BSC emphasizes the performance goals,which are not designed to control employees' behaviors,but to help employees understand and work for corporate strategic mission.In addition,through the BSC to realize the unification of corporate strategy and performance management can resolve the disunion between corporate strategy and the implementation of traditional performance evaluation.This thesis takes SK Agricultural Development Company(SK)as a case to build a balanced scorecard performance appraisal system.SK is the first domestic listed agricultural company,which is a typical case of state-owned agricultural company going public in our country.Establishing the performance appraisal system based on the BSC is beneficial to evaluate the performance of company's effective management.It can help us find the problems of production,management,marketing and supply chain.We can also monitor the degree of the implementation of the enterprise strategy and evaluate the performance before and after the IPO from the time dimension.In addition,this appraisal system is scientific,objective and all-round,which can help companies adjust the development strategy and strive to maximize the value of enterprises.Based on the review of foreign and domestic researches,this thesis analyzes the relevant theories of performance management,and studies the present situation and existing problems of SK's performance management system.And then analyzing the company's strategic themes and key success factors to achieve strategic goals.Taking SK as an example,AHP is used to construct the BSC performance appraisal system.After collecting and sorting out the relevant service data of SK,this thesis finally puts forward optimization suggestions to the new performance appraisal system,which can better adapt to the development needs of SK Agricultural Development Company.
