With the increasing scale of China’s engineering construction and the increasing complexity of construction procedures,the traditional construction management model not only requires more management personnel,but also it is difficult to achieve timely,efficient and accurate exchange of construction site information.These problems not only affect the efficiency of enterprise construction management,but also cause serious waste of resources How to improve the refined management level of construction enterprises has become an urgent problem.The emergence of the Internet of things RFID technology has provided the possibility to change the traditional construction management methods.Many researchers have found that the Internet of things RFID technology can effectively improve the level of construction management and has great potential for application in the construction field However,the survey found that China’s construction companies have a low adoption of IoT technology and insufficient application depth.In order to seek to limit the key factors of the development of the IoT technology in the construction industry and explore the internal mechanism of each factor,This paper presents the subject of research on the influencing factors of the adoption of RFID technology in the construction enterprisesFirst,this paper collates the research results of domestic and foreign information technology adoption theories,classify individuals and organizations based on their technical basis theory,and determine the technology acceptance model(TAM)and technology-organization-environment framework(TOE)as the theoretical basis for research hypotheses;Secondly,it summarizes and analyzes the application characteristics of the Internet of things RFID technology in construction company.Determining the influencing factors of the adoption of the Internet of things RFID technology by building construction enterprises based on literature review,survey interviews and the application characteristics of the technology.Then,taking individuals and organizations to jointly influence the adoption of this technology by construction companies as the starting point,based on TAM and TOE theories,17 assumptions were proposed,and a construction enterprise’s Internet of Things RFID technology adoption model was established;then,survey the 415 construction workers in South China and East China to collect sample data and use The structural equation model(SEM)validates the research hypothesis and obtains the final adoption model.Finally,according to the research conclusions,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the perspective of the long-term development of construction enterprises and the promotion and application of the Internet of Things RIFD technologyEmpirical research results show that:①Organizational preparation,technical characteristics,perceived ease of use,and adoption intention have a significant direct positive impact on the adoption of IoT technology in construction enterprises.The most direct impact is organizational preparation,with a path coefficient of 0.858;followed by technology Characteristics,the impact path coefficient is 0.678,the perceived cost has a significant negative impact on the adoption behavior,and the impact path coefficient is-0.354.②Organization preparation and perception of usefulness have a direct and significant positive impact on the intention of building construction enterprises to adopt RFID technology.③The external environment has a significant impact on the adoption behavior by affecting the intermediary variables of organizational preparation,technical characteristics,and perceived cost.④Technical characteristics will affect the adoption behavior of building construction enterprises by affecting the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness at the individual perception level.
