The complexity,multi-objective and multi-organization characteristics of construction projects determine the inevitability of project conflicts.Quality,schedule,and cost are the three goals of project management.During the project implementation process,on account of the owner,the project management company and the constructor have inconsistent requirements for the three goals,for maximize their own interests,project objectives often have project goals conflicts.Traditional conflict management methods pay more attention to post control.For the special field of construction engineering,once the conflict occurs the consequences may be very serious.Therefore,for such projects,in addition to resolving conflicts and reducing their negative impact,it is also necessary to strengthen the prevention of conflictsThis article takes the new plant project of joint venture A as an example,from the perspective of the project management company,which uses the related theories and technologies of the project management and conflict management,through finding the problems and analyzing the reasons,the author puts forward some suggestions on the conflict management of the owners,the project management companies and the contractors.This article is divided into five parts.The first chapter introduction that includes research background,research significance,research content and research methods;the second part is the text of the case.mainly summarizes the current situation of the A company new plant construction project;the third part is the analysis of the causes of the A company new plant construction project conflict;the fourth part is the strategy study on the conflict management of A company new plant construction project;the fifth part is the conclusion and the direction of further research.In this article,through the study of the conflicts in the A company new factory construction project,it summarizes the positive and correct understanding of the conflicts and the acceptance of the existence of the conflicts,and through the establishment of the contract network diagram,the strengthening of change management,the project management planning,the establishment of goal decomposition system,the construction of information management platform,the construction of communication bridges and other methods,it can effectively control the main participants in the project management to reduce the negative impact of conflict on project productivity and the achievement of investment,schedule and other goals.
