Research On The Demand For Community Elderly Service From The Perspective Of Supply

Against the background of the increasing ageing of the population,the gradual change of family structure and the concept of the elderly’s support for the elderly.The traditional family support model has been more severely impacted in our country,and socialized support methods have begun to enter the public’s perspective.In order to reduce the pressure on the elderly,the state and the government have issued various policies on the development of socialized pensions and vigorously developed a socialized old-age care.Because the community pension model is embedded in the community to provide professional services for the elderly,it has obvious advantages and has received greater support from the government.Based on the community old-age service supply and the elderly service demand,this paper studies the policy,supply level and implementation of community old-age service supply in China,and analyzes the problems of community old-age service supply according to the present situation.At the same time,five communities in Wuhan were investigated by random sampling,and community old-age services for the elderly were obtained.The needs of the elderly community pension services were divided into five categories: life care needs,medical care needs,spiritual comfort needs,legal aid needs and leisure and entertainment needs.A statistical analysis of the use of community pension services for the elderly and a logistic regression analysis of the demand.Finally,according to the data analysis of the elderly demand results to respond to the community pension service supply problem,improve the community pension service supply structure and system.This article mainly draws the following conclusions.First,the utilization rate of elderly care services in the elderly community is lower than its demand rate.Second,the personal characteristics of the elderly have a significant impact on the demand for community pension services.The probability of mental comfort and legal aid needs of younger elderly people is higher than that of those aged 86 and above,and that of women is higher than that of men.The number of children has a negative and significant impact on life care and health care needs.Third,the health status and psychological factors of the elderly have a significant impact on their community care service needs.Older people with fewer chronic illnesses are less likely to be in need of life care and spiritual comfort than older people with multiple chronic illnesses;older people with more loneliness are less likely to be in need of health care for older people who are not alone at all;older people who feel lonely are more likely to be in need of spiritual comfort than older people who are not alone at all;older people who feel more lonely are more likely to be in need of legal aid services and less likely to be in need of leisure and entertainment.Fourth,the social factors of the elderly have a significant impact on their community pension service needs.The higher the probability that the elderly in the community have a need for life care,the higher the probability that the educated elderly have a need for life care services and spiritual comfort services.Fifth,The economic factors of the elderly have a significant impact on their community pension service demand.Elderly people with lower monthly pensions have higher demand for living care and medical care than those with monthly pensions of more than 4,000 yuan.Elderly people with lower monthly pensions have higher requirements for spiritual comfort,legal aid and leisure.The demand for entertainment is lower than that of the elderly with a monthly pension of more than 4,000 yuan;the source of living expenses has a positive and significant impact on the demand for legal aid.The elderly with a lower monthly expenditure are compared with those with a monthly expenditure of more than 4,000 yuan.The elderly have a lower probability of having a need for this medical care,and a higher probability of having a need for legal aid.After obtaining the actual demand of the elderly for community pension services,in response to the supply of community pension services,the government should improve and optimize all aspects of community old-age service supply from five aspects: optimizing the diversified and individualized service supply structure,improving the accessibility and utilization of government-provided community pension services,perfecting the construction of the community old-age service system,widening the source of funds for the community old-age service supply,strengthening the synergy between the government and the market and the three social providers,and perfecting the community old-age service system.
