| Police publicity,an integral part of the political work of the public security and an important source of harmonious police-civilian relations,has the important functions of displaying the image of public security,disseminating public security information,and safeguarding the right of public opinion to know and supervise.The emergence of new media enabled the media to open up various resources of "newspaper,internet,terminal,micro,and screen",and brought new opportunities and challenges to police publicity.Therefore,it is particularly important to study police publicity in the era of new media to use new media to tell police stories,to enhance the initiative and effectiveness of police publicity,and to improve the sense of security and satisfaction of the masses via new media.This thesis based on the theories of collaborative governance and "spiral of silence",and adopted questionnaire and interview surveys to study the problems with the police service propaganda in Aksu Prefecture.300 questionnaires were distributed to the public security police and the public in Aksu according to the actual situation.The recovery rate and effective rate are above 94.00%.Nine policemen engaged in police publicity were interviewed.It was found that there were problems in police publicity in Aksu Prefecture,such as insufficient comprehensive publicity content,poor standardization of publicity procedures,low utilization rate of publicity platform,low discrimination of publicity audience and so on.With the guidance of relevant theory,the paper analyzed the causes of the problems and analyzed that the main causes were inadequate understanding of police publicity a,imperfect publicity mechanism,lack of effective supervision and weak publicity team.Through summarizing and drawing lessons from the experience of police publicity in developed areas in China,this paper proposed six suggestions,namely,to change the awareness of police publicity,to enrich the content of police publicity,to standardize police publicity procedures,to broaden police publicity channels,improve police publicity and supervision mechanisms,to speed up professional police services and to strengthen publicity team construction. |
