In the process of high-level badminton players’ competition, the athletes from both sides have a small gap in the application of skills and tactics,so it is necessary to strengthen the physical training to overcome the bottleneck of the improvement of competitive ability. For high-level badminton players, there is an intensive competition schedule throughout the year, and there is no fully meaningful preparation period for training. Therefore, the training arrangement between competitions is particularly important. In this study, through the methods of literature, experiment and mathematical statistics, the power cycle arrangement and load change of the national badminton women’s singles group and women’s doubles group were studied.Through the strength training of three inter-match cycles, the test indexes reflecting the maximum strength and upper strength of upper and lower limbs, explosive power of lower limbs and special strength were selected: vertical jump on the spot, chest push ball in sitting position, bench press on flat barbell, standing barbell squat, and badminton throw on the spot.Subjective fatigue(RPE)was recorded at the end of each training session during the three training cycles. The results showed that after the training of three inter-match periods, the nonlinear group showed significant differences in the test indexes of the vertical jump of the lower limb explosive force, the squat of the maximum strength of the lower limb, and the bench press of the maximum strength of the upper limb. There were significant differences between the linear group and the linear group. In addition, the overall performance improvement of the nonlinear group was higher than that of the linear group. The conclusion shows that the fatigue of the nonlinear group is more likely than that of the linear group to occur during the strength training. Both linear and nonlinear periods of inter-match strength training have positive significance for improving the power and explosive force of female badminton athletes. The nonlinear periodic strength training has a significant effect on the maximum strength of upper and lower limbs and the explosive force of lower limbs of female badminton athletes in the intercompetition training stage, and the overall effect is better than that of linear periodic strength training. It is suggested that the coach should choose the training mode of nonlinear cycle when carrying out the strength training among the athletes. In this study, the strength training intensity and training volume of each group of athletes are fixed, and it is suggested that individual needs can be met in the future practice.
