The Influence Of Industrial Transformation And Upgrading In Guangdong Province On The Supply And Demand Of Talents In Higher Vocational Colleges

Employment is the biggest livelihood of the people.Industrial transformation and upgrading bring about changes in the demand for higher vocational talents and put forward new requirements for talent supply.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on the supply and demand of higher vocational talents for promoting employment.Based on the theory of labor market segmentation,ecological niche and talent and organization matching,the study adopted literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview research,combined with Cite Space visualization,Nvivo11 software and SPSS 23.0data analysis tools,to explore the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on the supply and demand of higher vocational talents.The analysis of literature and yearbook data shows that in terms of industrial transformation and upgrading,Guangdong has the characteristics of rapid development of the tertiary industry,followed by the secondary industry,and large regional differences in industrial transformation and upgrading.The influence on the supply and demand of higher vocational talents is as follows: the overall development level of the industry affects the supply and demand scale of higher vocational talents;The distribution of three industrial structures influences the supply and demand structure of higher vocational talents;The degree of industrial transformation and upgrading affects the quality of talent supply and demand.A self-compiled questionnaire was used to survey 406 higher vocational teachers and324 employers in Guangdong province to investigate the talent supply of higher vocational colleges and the current situation of talent demand of employers under the background of industrial transformation and upgrading.It is found that the industrial transformation and upgrading of Guangdong province has a significant impact on the supply and demand of talents in higher vocational colleges,and the current supply of talents in higher vocational colleges cannot fully meet the needs of employers.Higher vocational colleges pay more attention to students’ professional practical skills,learning ability and self-management ability.Employers pay more attention to higher vocational students’ self-management ability,learning ability andinnovation and entrepreneurship ability,and higher and higher requirements on the comprehensive quality of higher vocational students.In order to better understand the specific impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on the supply and demand of vocational talents,10 vocational teachers and 10 employers were interviewed,and Nvivo11 software was used to encode the interview text.The results show that the current situation of talent supply in higher vocational colleges cannot fully meet the market demand.Industrial transformation and upgrading have an impact on the specialty setting,faculty team and training target of talent training in higher vocational colleges.There are some problems in talent training in higher vocational colleges,such as imperfect construction of teaching staff,weak ability of local economic and social services,insufficient cooperation between schools and enterprises,low overall level of professional construction and lack of landmark achievements.According to the above research results,focusing on the impact of industrial transformation and upgrading on the supply and demand of higher vocational talents and combining with the analysis of ecological niche theory,it is proposed to strengthen the development of tertiary industry and expand the demand for higher vocational talents from the demand side.To renew the development path of the secondary industry and increase the demand for higher vocational talents;To explore the potential of the primary industry and enhance the demand space for higher vocational talents;Deepen the understanding of industrial structure and promote the matching of talent supply and demand structure.From the supply side put forward to deepen school-enterprise cooperation to promote the targeted supply of higher vocational talents;Optimize the teaching staff,ensure the quality of talent supply;Promoting the different development of higher vocational colleges and the characteristic supply of talents;Improve the comprehensive quality of talent supply and promote the adaptability of higher vocational talents.
