Research On The Impact Of Compulsory Education Resources Input And Allocation On Education Opportunity Equity

The purpose of this study is to analyze the underlying causes of the inequity in compulsory education based on reality and historical background in Shanghai,and to analyze the mechanism that specifically affects the inequity of educational opportunities based on the theory of service delivery system and the theory of education equity,and to get the enlightenment of improving the current situation of the opportunity inequity in compulsory education.According to the theory of service delivery system of compulsory education,this study proposes that the input and allocation of compulsory education resources will affect the inequity of the education opportunity distribution.This paper builds the Hedonic housing price characteristic model of Shanghai residences,analyses the premium of different school quality on housing markets,and adds the education resources input and allocation as interaction to observe whether this interactive effect exists.The study finds that education resources input and allocation condition have a significant negative effect on the premium effect of primary school quality on housing markets,which will offer some clues to reduce compulsory education opportunity distribution inequity.
